How strong do you think the summoned Daemon should be?

  1. Super strong! It should be dealing 400-800 damage with over two thousand health!

    Afaik they do

At gm they have about half the health of the avg non-bludgeon/earth mage player has (between 400-500) and add about 10 dps to your total dps.

And apparently in the deamon’s case, random stuns and resistance jacking and small dot. Would be even cooler if that demon chaos was an aoe that sapped everything around it

Oh no, it doesn't have a lifesapping aura ability, it is a fire DoT that only does 0-1 damage or normal damage for a crit, and yes I have casted my earth's embrace on it, but it doesn't work for some reason anymore. It used to, but not anymore. Only buff that works on summons/pets is celestial blessing atm. That being said, spells like Blind and Fireflies can do wonders to keep your active summon around a little longer.

At this point, I would be happy with a Damage and Magic Resistance increase to where it can last longer in direct or nondirect combat (cause it has 0 of both atm), and a damage increase to 40-50 (xp cost and all) at level 100 with slow increases from every level above GM.

I'd say somewhat strong, if those number are at GM mind you. He should start out relatively weak.

I tried casting Strength of Earth on a water elemental and it did nothing.

Agreed. And the numbers from the picture are from my level 110 daemon.
