From the survey done earlier showed that 73% of players want the full looting.

So.. i just wanna know..

a client comes into my office...
i receive a payment from the client for doing a work following their instructions...
and after the payment I do the work without following his instructions and doing my own thing...
this is what he is doing Portalarium

We ask for full looting,
we pay all togheter,
and after Portalarium is doing as he wants.

Please redo this poll, hoping that Portalarium can listen their customers

I'm all for 100% loot however you need to remember we are a small percentage of the players, most pledgers probably don't even visit the forums due to the mass PVP posts. Bare this is mind.

 

More likely: you have thousands of customers, and one of them comes to your office giving you instructions. He claims that all the others will surely agree with him even though he doesn't know who the other customers are.

P.S.: I am for full loot but I'm ok with testing the proposed system.

 

Partially true...

But remember, one became big with the help of a lot of small, not with the help of an alone big one.

For now there is a 55% approx of full looting... with that % there is no reason to say anything to Portalarium. But if the value increase (almost 70-80%) then the circumstances can be changed.

Done before. Still not conclusive. There are tons of backers that don't post on the forums at all and most of the PVE crowd doesn't even look at the PVP thread. But I guess we all have a right to our illusions of grandeur.

Why add consensual? Why not just: No Loot, Full Loot, Partial Loot?

Why not do it in the General Forums?

Consensual is Non-negotiable ....no need to include it.

As founder and participant in this project is your duty to read all the forum categories

Only in this way, by a person educated and attentive to the events related to that project, in every category or subforum you can participate in the creation of something.
If you read it in part, or only marginally, you can not consider yourself a founder, but only a sheep that follows the evolution of events ....

OMG I want PVE with no looting... I never wanna find any items or gold or anything in the world... *faceplant... another worthless pvp poll....

 

Good thing this is not Italy nor is the company bound my the Italian Constitution then. Regardless that still does not make the poll valid or accurate. I am willing to bet the Devs are well aware of their community, their preferences and the Dev's consistent message involving the intent of these features.

 

This is why most forums do not allow poll creation.

 

I think there is a little misunderstanding...

In the last topic i noticed that a good amount of people wanted PvP.

I repost it just to clarify the situation.

Everyone is free to post or not and to express their opinion.
I wanted to know if Portalarium had taken the right path, because at first glance (referring to the previous post pvp) seemed wrong, but seeing the evolution of this post i think they have opted for a middle ground.

 

Your poll is not scientific. It does not have a representative sample. It has no validity.

 

Seeing as how they are designing and developing this game, I imagine whatever they decide to do is the 'right path'.
After it is completed and the market votes with their wallet it may be revealed they were wrong, but at this time they can choose to do whatever they want within the limits of what they themselves have already commited to and it is "right".

 

We know there is a sizable population of PvE only players backing this game. Until we see a similar vote in the poll, it stands as evidence that the poll itself is showing lopsided results. I seriously doubt that the PvE players are voting for full loot. On the other hand, it has been known to happen that certain very vocal people would make multiple accounts on forums JUST so that they could vote repeatedly and artificially inflate the result representing their viewpoint.

 

Given the last dev post regarding full loot, I'm not sure why you would create a poll with it included.

What is the least important aspect of PvP?

Who cares? Design something good and no one will talk about the loot. People were focused on loot in UO because there was nothing else to it.
