    A Caverns Cinematic Christmas Card



    (poem by Acred - click the screen to freeze the scroll)

    ‘Twas the night before solstice, when all through the land
    Many creatures were stirring, including a band
    Of intrepid warriors, their mimics and pets.
    They were out on a hunt. Some were noobs. Some were vets.

    Searching the Vale and daring the Passes
    They came to a place with strange plants and crevasses.
    They soon heard a roar, then what did they see?

    A troll like a mountain, so fearsome was he.

    They munched down their bark bread. They chugged down their beer.
    Grabbing armfuls of ammo, they gave out a cheer.
    As the first snowball hit, the troll froze in surprise
    But he soon returned fire and caused their demise.

    One by one they went down, most still holding their mug.
    The troll looked at the fallen with a laugh and a shrug.
    “Find the Ankh, silly warriors, and come back in the light.”
    “Merry ventures to all, and to all a good fight.”

    When fighting spiders in the Mysterious Swamp for a long time, you start to see things. For example, here's one leg of a giant obsidian spider as it emerges from the swamp.
