Scene (instance) Suggestion

Could it be possible to have an "beach" instance

I would love to be able to run "barefoot" on the beach side ... maybe take a swim?

Possibly a bolder I can swim out to and fish?

Also a "cliff" overlooking the ocean - I'm thinking "Big Sur" for those that have been



Also - one of the coolest thing I saw on the coastline in San Francisco was a man fishing on a huge bolder ... that would be awesome. The bolder looked like this.

 

Yeah, I was entering a hex at the shore of the Hidden Vale and the scene wasn't a shore at all, which was quite... odd.

 

I'm sure they are getting ....

I think the cliffs are a good idea for two reasons - it would be cool to look at ... and it would provide a barrier to the edge of the world

- Also - we have a lot of beach front / coastline ... imagine the possibilities of things you could find ... a shipwreck; a entrance to a cave near the cliff side ... "Sea fishing" from the coastline

- stairs that lead to a cave entrance on a cliff - you would have to be very observant to see it

 

Just thought of something and this it completely superfluous ... splash water emote

If we can get in the water ... splashing water would be hilarious

 

Ok - another superfluous idea - deep sea fishing .... we have boats - a "boat instance" for fishing - opportunity to get a rare swordfish

 

There are all sorts of coastal scenes you could probably have, including high cliffs,etc.. I was going to add this to my scenes thread.

 

Great idea, and you know, you can always fire up Unity free and easily create a mockup of what you think your scene should roughly look like. OFC you can use any kind of drawing or examples too so that your idea will be better translated to the developers.

Suggestions for all different possible scenes, not only seaside.

 

If I had the know how I would! - But I don't - trust me if there is something I can do to help I willing - but in terms of game dev - not much help ... unless someone is willing to teach ... would love to learn
