Are you still doing these, Grace? I fell in love with this image that you posted as a suggestion for someone else, so if it hasn't already been used by another person I would love this for a signature! Just head and shoulders would be fine (unless you want to use the whole image), with the name Karrie in some sort of flowing script and perhaps with a sort of misty forest background, if possible? (Or an abstract, watercolour-like background that suggests foliage, perhaps - whatever you think works best. )

It's beautiful... I don't know if I will play my SotA character as a rangery outdoorsy type or not, but I usually do play rangers and I did love that image! Thank you very much.

 

There's some good options for ranger type characters in this game. MANY OPTIONS. There's a way with some spell casting, and without spell casting. There's a dual wield bladed weapon skill set that would work good for a ranger. Then there's also the ranged combat skill tree. Then there's probably a way to use a sword and a shield with light armor variation that could still look ranger-like. I think there is a tracking skill too.

Thank you for the suggestions, Isaiah! I was thinking about whether I want to play my character as more like 'me', or as the sort of person I might like to be if I had the skills here on earth - I'm not an outdoor girl at all. I'm sure there'll be skills in-game that equate to ranger or hunter abilities if I decide to go that route.

 

Well I've switched from Windows to Ubuntu and am really not familiar with using Gimp yet.

If anyone is still doing these and has time and is feeling generous then I could use a decent signature. Something like I have below is fine but I'll leave it to your own creative style.

I'd like to keep the CoA( shield ) as that is from here and represents who I am in game. ( Though it could be rendered or cleaned up if you like. Here's a link to a high res .PNG of it.)

As to the rest .. I use the guy because he is a ranger like character that resembles me. ( White/gray hair with a beard and mustache. Though mine is thinner and not vandyke. http://goo.gl/oHelza <-- me) Still this part is not important. If you feel a different direction might be better that's fine by me. Everything else except the shield portion can be scraped and replaced.

Thing is you can still do both. You're character is supposed to be you from earth, but you don't have to take on the same physical appearance, and you can even change sexes. So basically the person is you with memories etc, but your physical appearance and skill set can go any way you choose. It's similar to a Dr. Who regeneration.
