Maybe the new lands are about to be revealed by a geological event.... or maybe its a distraction.
Glittery vampires - confirmed.
*insert pic of shirtless Robert Pattinsson here - because I won't*
It's more like small, falling white lights.
If it is still snowing I guess it has something to do with the new lands ^^
Or it could just be a bug with he weather system that snuck it’s way in when Chris was messing with it the other day.
My money’s on the bug.
hmm maybe related to upcoming ep? Chris only said in the stream that he didnt know why it was snowing that at this time of year. So could be a bug or something else. Remember when the comet first started coming the devs played chill for a long time with I don't know what that could be
Yeah. Sure. ^^
This isn't snow. It is inside my house, and it changes the coloring of my armor and anything else metal - like the metal trim on the trunks, etc.
The Devs must of gotten into my ground-up fairy supply again.
Is SotA World passing through the orbit of last year's comet?
It was snowing down in the UT cavern too.
Manna from heaven, at last.
My best guess is volcanic ash from the eruptions at sea that are causing the new lands to rise.
I have to say, though, it makes it really easy to lose your cursor in the middle of an intense fight...
So one patch later, during winter it was raining. My suspicion is it's on backwards:
Please bring back the Snow during Winter!!!! I an so sick of the constant rain!
I like it. It's so very british ^^
Even if bugs stay sometimes awhile in the game I do not think the devs would announce a comeback campaign and at the same time this bug appears and stays in the game…especially as I would guess it should be easy to fix if it would be really unintended.
Not fixing this “bug” while trying to get avatars back simply seems to be too self-contradictory and that way I would guess it is intended and it is up to us avatars to find out why there is “snow” in many scenes.
For example did anyone did a research if it is really snowing in all scenes or are there scenes where it is not snowing? If so maybe the snow-dispersion is pointing into a specific region. E.g. if it is not snowing in Shadowmist, Solania, Grayacre and all towns southeast of them while it is snowing everywhere else it would be reasonable to assume that the source/centre of the "snow" might be in the far northwest...in this case there could even be a visible source at the notheastern horizon.
Or somewhere on the overworld map we can see far away something like a small volcano pumping ash into the sky.
Or a small ice/glass tower glittering at the horizon that is creating waves of white clouds.
Or there is simply a mysterious large fog bank somewhere in the endless ocean.
Anyway my money’s on an event…most likely about revealing some EP2 content.
(And even if I’m wrong and this was an unintended bug I guess it would not be that stupid if the devs would simply try to make it part of the already announced EP2 revealing.)
If you ask the Oracle about 'snow', she says,
But did you know that when it snows
My eyes become large and the light that you shine can be seen?
