In meantime, feel free to list some of those Ultima nouns and so on, and we'll make some streets out of them.

The title should also be appropriate. So for example, a street is different than a road, an avenue. There are a couple of other real world examples I'm including in my list that aren't in your original list.

The names could also add a lot of lore to the streets. So, for example you could have a Moonshard Street, because some small shards from the moon were found there. Also some street names can be prefixed by the title "Old" or "New", so "Old King Street" , vs "King Street."

    * * *

ABSTRACT. Center Street. Broad Street. Regent Road. Grand Parade. Town Quay.

OBJECT. Cobblestone Mews. Cobblestone Cres. Trowbridge Street. Bridgewater Street. Kingsgate.

NATURE. Garden Street. Hill Street. King's Gardens. Seaside Grove. Garden Terrace. Seaside Terrace. Park Terrace. Woodland Grove. Hurst Street. Bough Street. Park Ravine. Longmeadow Lane. Park Glen. Parkstone Road. Bank Head Lane. Westfield Lane. Parkhill Street. Meadowfield road. Undercliff. Serpent's Cres.

WORKPLACE OR INDUSTRY. Temple Street. Tower Hill. Armoury Square. Abbeyhill Cres.

PLANT OR TREE. Cypress Road. Thistle Street. Laurel Street. Pinewood Lane. Olive Street. Hawthorn Road. Oak Road. Oak Circle. Bramble Road. Larchwood Road.

    WATER. River Street. Waterwheel Road.

NAME. Lum's Walk. Lonely Christopher's Quay.

PROFESSION. Peddler's Row. Drover's Way. Dray Walk. Fisher's Quay. Beggar's Walk. Peasant's Walk. Apothecary Lane. Draper Street. Mason Avenue. Fishergate Lane. Fishmonger's Lane. Arhcery Road. Dyer's Circle. Butcher's Lane.

I'm trying to think of things that would fit with the lore and would be simple names people would call to mind for naming....

Ultima virtues could make awesome street names...

    Humble Lane
    Justice Plaza
Courageous Monkey Avenue (sorry, just felt like naming something after a monkey)

School of Magic names are good too:

    Way of Death
    Red Earth Run
    Lightning Pass

Crafting materials are always going to work:

    Iron Forge Byway
    Nickel Ridge

What I would hope is that the names would somehow "fit" with the lore and style of a place. I'm going to try to tackle one as an example...

I love the idea of street names, will make towns much more manageable.

In the cities I've lived in, the main streets are named after the neighbouring cities. (I think this is generic pattern in most european cities, though I'm not sure. At least it's how streetnames are generally handled in Belgium)
Lets take 3 example cities (Port, Ala and Rium).
The city of Port has 2 gates in its wall, one N towards Ala and another E towards Rium.
The street leading from the town square to the north gate would be Ala street (and the gate would be called Ala gate instead of north gate), and likewise the street leading from the town square towards the E gate would be Rium street (with Rium gate at the end).

Add more neighbouring cities, and a spiderweb pattern will begin to emerge of long main streets named after their destinations, with the streets criss-crossed in between having the more colourful names.

I would like to see at least a Dupre Avenue and a Geoffrey Road. One easily could expand this with a Iolo Plaza or a Janaa Lane...

If not now then at some point in the past. Some nearby NPC could make comments "My gran gran used to talk about the Orange Groves along the road. Pluckin' the fruits as the walked by an' ol' farmer Ben chasin' her off. Shame when the orcs burned 'em down..."

    Challenge accepted...

I wonder if it would be a great Benefactor perk to have street names named after them. Seems like founders have so many perks, it would be nice to have something that goes just to Benefactors.

Also, I assume POT's are going to name their own streets.

Need tons more names - try to make them right for the game, we don't want the devs just grabbing a street atlas and using all the names they find there. Would be much better to have some names in that somehow are right for this game.

    Long Row

Sometimes, names of roads change because two roads meet. As a result there could be a road with a bridge. On one side of the bridge it is called Order Way. The other side would be Chaos Path.

That might be subject to asking the relatives of the deceased for their permission, at the very least could have Leonard Street and Nimoy Crescent, Robins Arcade and Williams Avenue. I'll add in both.
