Thanks for "Examine" devs, a great decision - IMO

    Now we finally have the ability to show to others what we're wearing. ;)

    I'm sure some of the PvPers will hate it - but the really good ones will say "Meh"....

    I'm proud of the suits that my guildies made for me and I finally get to "show 'em off "... ;)
    (Yes, mouseovers will show what each piece has).

    Oh, and Weight and Gold both default to Zero - that's noyb.... hehehe :p

    Unflaged players should not be able to inspect PVP players without being flagged for PVP.

    This is the first iteration of the feature. If what you're wearing is visible, people should be able to see it. What they shouldn't be able to see is your stats.

    I disagree with this. Examine fixes one of my pet peeves that you cannot see what weapon someone has equipped even if it is something gigantic like a polearm. I do think that it should NOT show your stats, weight, or gold however. That would not be evident by looking at someone.

    I don't want you looking at me, unless I want you looking at me. So if you look at me, and I don't want you to. I want the ability to teach you not to look at me again. Also known as, killing and looting you. That can only happen if your flagged. Thus my idea. I think non flagged can freely look at other non flagged without consequence. The pvp flag of a player should mean something.

    I do like your, idea. I just think it should be implemented differently for PVP types.

    looking at a weapon could tell you what it is and maybe what's socketed with and a general sense of its current durability. it wouldn't be able to tell you specific durability numbers, who made it, or whether it's critted.

    Sounds like maybe you shouldn't go out in public. People can see what they can see. If you don't want them to see then don't be seen.

    I think being able to view the equipped gear is acceptable, but yeah, the stats should be hidden. That also means that they need to turn off stats when you have them targeted (i.e. non-PvP combat or non-party member).

    The entire lower section with stats should instead perhaps show some custom text the player can write about themselves.
