    I am getting this message each and every time i browse to https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/
    "This site uses cookies to track and improve your browsing experience"

    Doesn't matter if I user IE or Firefox, and I have clicked OK many times now.
    It annoys me :mad:;)

    Have you guys forgotten to implement the cookie you are writing about, or is it just my computers that are funny?

    Not sure about IE, but Mozilla gutted cookie options due to crashes. You could mess around with the config settings by pointing your firefox browser to 'about:config' and scrolling down to the network.cookie values, but I would suggest to reinstall the browser.

    Edit: In the EU there exists a regulation which requires websites to get your permission before installing cookies. That could be why we stateside users aren't getting the warning.

    They are Mint Cookies too! :) Just kidding... we'll take a look, though it may be a browser setting you have to toggle. I'll ask our web guy.

    I'm on Chrome, and this hasn't appeared for me in as long as I can remember, but I see that I now also get that message so I would imagine something changed on the site side rather than the user end (could be both though or just coincidence!)

    Some countries (like europe) require you to acknowledge that youre accepting a site storing a cookie on your computer. If you wipe cookies, you would have to re-accept this every time you visit the site.

    True.

    I am at work now and did a little test with my work computer.
    In IE browsing to another site that gives the same type of cookie-warning with an ok button, on that site the warning doesn't appear on my next visit.
    But browsing to https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com the warning keeps reappearing on every visit.

    The code that stores the cookie isn't setting an expiration date so the cookie expires when the browser session does. Though for the life of me I can't see whey the cookie message doesn't show up in chrome despite the lack of said cookie, I suspect you're all using Chrome and thus not irritated by the prompt.
    Code:
    set_cookie_consent(c) { document.cookie = 'T='+c+''; }

    Hello,

    I guess this needs fixing :)
    This was already reported before by a user, so I do have an bug report entered for me to look at this. I wasn't able to repro what that user said, and didn't hear back from him anymore, so I wasn't sure if it was on his side, and he figured it out and moved on. I guess not. I'll see what I can do. @Lained, thanks for the pointer. The +'' is probably the wrongly generated part where the expiration date should be. ha!
