    Great video as always Envy.

If helpful, Blood River is on the far western part of Novia, near the western coast, about halfway between the top and bottom of the western edge of the map.

I did it on alt accounts 7 times with new char alone. It takes a bit of work, and time, but its possible. On my main account a nice man helped me by the name of Banton. It was my first run and he showed me the way, and died many times because I get lost in those tunnels lol. I owe that man a beer!

Not really that hard. I did it with a character that has never leveled without trouble. Just run past things. Hardest part was breaking through everything. That was rather tedious.

It does not. The portal in Owl's Head sends you to Solace Bridge. There is a portal from Blood River to Owl's Head but not vice versa.

Ugh, another frustrating tour quest. Thank you for doing these vids to make it less torturous.

Edit: Took me a party of six with a healer, guy in full plate and three wipes... So I again implore the devs to please think about how they implement these. I expected maybe an hour to do this and it is taking me an entire evening of hair-pulling frustration. The close proximity of ghosts in the mine combined with (yet once again) a tour guide who may or may not acknowledge you is a massive frustration.

Do you test the difficulty of these at all before releasing them? This head-ware should be called Sadist SteamPunk goggles, not Virtue SteamPunk Goggles.

I seriously wish the devs had implemented my idea of adding to the compass what zone of Novia you are in while in the overworld. I didn't even know if I was anywhere in the right part of the map and the instructions the tour guide told me? Who knows where Vertas or Aerie is? Are they even in the game?

    *sigh*

I die right at the Etceter Mines tour guide every time. I get to him, but die before the slow @#$% chat system gives me credit for talking to him.

The 100000 ghosts chasing me is ridiculous.

How do you determine that you are level 45? Your main attack skill is level 45? Just curious as there are no longer levels. Those ghosts are nasty.

there are walls to break when ghosts are hitting you...I am going to try it in multiplayer mode to see if the walls are already broken.

Edit: None of the walls are broken in multiplayer...this is the hardest tour guide quest yet :)

A cool bit of game dynamics - certain spells will destroy the rocks as well.

If the quest sounds too difficult - and it is! - remember it's not a required quest.

Just pass it. It's not a big deal.

More value for those of us who know how to cheat death and ghosts... ;):p

Great guide Envyco. I already completed the quests but nevertheless was fun to watch. The goggles actually match your forum avatar!

Not a problem friend. Sorry we took a few wrong turns but it was dark and I had only been out there once before yesterday. Always happy to help another player when I can though.

@Lum ... Yea, I corrected my mistake on that 2 posts after I made it. Glad you popped in to correct me though. At least nobody will miss your comment. 8)

To those having a hard time getting through the chat part when you reach the tour guide... make sure you are OUT of combat when talking to him. That may be your issue if it doesn't seem to acknowledge you.

I was adventurer level 45 at the end of R21 (the night before). I tackled the Grand Tour as soon as I logged on that day ;)

Yes, you go in combat mode, but you don't automatically unsheath your weapons. That's the key difference. You can talk as long as your weapon(s) is sheathed.

I had trouble just getting to the mines... I've never seen clusters of dozens of mobs attacking in packs before. Not just in one place, but in many. The weird thing is that I've been there before, and it wasn't nearly as bad. Sure, I had a Party then, but there were only a few (tough) creatures there, in small groups. I'm not even sure the Party could have gotten through what I saw the first night of R22. I didn't make it into the mines that day, but the last time I was down in the mines, there was only one ghost, and he could be avoided if you watched carefully.

    Also,
It used to be that you could press V and look at the top line, but I don't see it there now.
