    And even before these, I had direct conversations with LB on chat about headlesses as well, where he directly stated he wanted them in.

    So... no lack of effort on the communities part, that's for sure

    Yeah I did a search after I posted.. however.. your wording to say

    Isn't entirely accurate. Rather to say.. people have been asking for this for a long time would've been more precise. Example: if you look at the thread that mention 'headless' you'll find a lot of references to masks and very little to do with the actual creature and nothing at all before '15.

    Take your 2nd link.. the thread is about needing low level enemies.. your 3rd link the OP doesn't bring up ratmen OR ettins but a number of other traditional D&D but is mainly talking about no specific creatures but rather creatures in general.

    THIS particular thread is asking for a few very specific creatures that have specifically appeared in Ultimas. I will give you that your thread is very similar.. but the other 2? No sorry. Partly related is not the same as 'exact'

    I'd love to see a little more variety in NPC monsters.... I'm personally sick of skeletons. Ratmen, Lizardmen, The Ophidians (I loved those from UO)... I think it's be great to have something other that just, bigger badder skeles to grapple with. Dragons are awesome, trolls are good... ettins would make a nice addition.

    I believe you'd thinking of Naga? The Ophidians were just what people called the human population that used to live in SI before they left for Pagan. Did EA seriously screw up the lore that badly?

    Edit: Actually I remember those things now.. kinda like giant cobra with arms or something? Still.. should've been called something else.. :p

    The Ophidians were introduced in The Second Age expansion, and were in The Lost Lands... so that was before EA took over. Also, an Ophidian was a D&D monster as well... essentially a snake body and head with a humanoid torso and arms. Figured that's where the inspiration came from for the UO version.

    Bah.. is it too much to ask for a little consistency??? But then.. UO had quite a few things not in traditional Ultima.
