What game mechanics would you like to see?

    Just a thread in public forums to ask what you would like to see in game as far as mechanics.

    I would love to see the skeletons fall to scattered bones on the ground on the killing blow (when they are finally dead)

    take off growl effect of elves, and replace with a battle cry!

    the ability to acquire the archers hood from the Ebon cultists and kolbolds.

    Magical bows (not arrows) example bow of lightening and bow of fire ect...

    A new skill tree for assassins and clerics

    the sun spells to do more damage to undead than everything else

    banish undead needs to work on more than one undead

    feel free to add more stuff you would like to see in the game.

    * Bounty Board, full blown bounty hunting system.
    * Zero Breakable crates & barrels.
    * A steal skill only used on NPC containers.
    * All NPC containers spawn items.
    * Full blown Pirate Casino.
    * Quest Dragon.
    * Super rare/unique weapons/armor/clothes.
    * The ability to drop items on the ground (except for writable objects such as books which can be abused too easily).
    * Magic arrows
    * Etc.

    I answered in astericks for some things I had a comment to, otherwise all good ideas. Perhaps you had much time to think lol j/k. I'm glad youre back.

    ***Yaaay for no growling, or even barking. I never want to hear another barking wolf again, never ever. Oh Ive said that for too many releases already, silence those beasts, please.;)

    ***I agree, it is not that powerful either or special. I think it should have a sound it makes when you use it or some effect you can see, right now it is boring

    I guess I will make a non combat pitch for more dances, how pve can I get lol, so sorry. Ummmm regarding combat I do not like the combo system we have. I went back to Tera since I still have it downloaded, havent played for a year or so, and i died, imagine that. I forgot how to fight. Anyway when the combos were available they would flash the icon on your screen for you to hit your spacebar. You only have a very short amount of time to hit the spacebar and if you do any other movement you will lose the combo.

    Combos are really powerful in Tera and special. Ours are not. When I do a combo in SOTA it is nothing special and not that much more powerful than anything, plus the dragging thing is the pits, so archaic. Boo to our combo system. Ok you asked.;) I have to post a picture so youll see how bad my combat was trying to look at combat for comments. Only look at my characters FACE, she rushed out of the house to show you her COMBAT TACTICS, which she had none of today.;) Red screen on the borders means she is dying. So sad.

    Ingame-scenes that tell stories and accompany quests. Not rendered scenes but inengine scenes.
    A troll smashing down the walls of a village, a thief running out of a shop with the merchant following behind him, a dragon swooping down from the sky, soldiers entering a tavern searching for someone etc. Exciting things happening everywhere and you are there when they happen.

    Of course you can have PVE dance moves :) its all good! Im with you the combos are nothing really special especially the look of the combos.

    That some monsters could have a final/dying attack.
    If you kill a big giant you should be careful so it don't falls on you.

    All these are excellent ideas here that you all have put so far! Keep adding cool stuff!

    I would love to see the character your playing to make different moves when attacking, such as.. double slash in the sword tree, as you make your double slash, your character should roll through your opponent come up on other side ready for attack again, when a mage uses a spell he should move his staff around to mimics movements.

    *New spell "Shock wave" - caster slams staff into ground creating a shock wave moving out from him rippling the ground (kind of an earthquake/gust together)

    When a bludgeon fighter uses "Pound Ground" there should be a similar effect as well. Also id love to see a distinctive jumping move that crashes down a blade or bludgeon attack on the opponent.

    Skill should get better with use!!!!!!!!!!!! (not because you put points there!)

    Some new skill trees such as "Assassin", "Thief", "Cleric" type skills (and since were on cleric here goes..)

    With all the Astronomy, Chaos Demon, and Oracle stuff coming in, this all can be incorporated.

    Cleric/holy (whatever you want to call it) Reverse Skills for Necromancer type class
    Tier 1. Heal
    Tier 2. Bless (increases stats by 5 ), Holy light (like "Searing light", but more damage for undead of course), Cure (cures poison)
    Tier 3. Shield of faith (shimmering yellow glow around you, protects against death spells or reduces damage or reflects damage back) Cure Disease (against those zombies coming soon) Greater Heal (higher level of healing)
    Tier 4. Sacred ground (blesses the ground in an area like the "Ice field", that when undead or enemies come into it it reduces their stats and does tic damage), Healing Wind (heals multiple targets in radius around caster for 1 min)
    Tier 5. Archangel (just add wings to the air elemental paint it ivory white. Pet that heals and damages for you until dead) (look out Lich, and Demon (coming soon) You've met your match!
    Innate's could be - Faith, Devotion, Prayer

    ( I play cleric type so i had to add that :))

    I would love to see other skill trees you come up with! ( I play cleric type so i had to add that :)) Lets give the Devs something to think about, it may peak their skills as well for the better of us all!

    Classes would make the design of your character a little better and distinguish what you actually are (RP there!)

    As long as you can use them better than the desert vipers in "Game Of Thrones!" (the desert vipers were a big let down! I thought i was watching Xena the warrior princess for that scene) If you dont watch game of thrones this probably makes no sense to you! lol

    Bladed whips/chain whips would be friggen cool tho!

    --I would like to see a branch of magic that allowed Bards as we had in old UO. Maybe just some minor skills to allow "provoke" and "Peacemake", not another full school of magic....
    --The strength of battle is not in the sword, but in the song.
    --btw I have started writing again in Fire Lotus Tavern forum....Tale of the Red Hat gnomes

    I really injoy base management systems as a 3rd person. One game that comes to mind with this is State Of Decay with it's homebase system.
