Where are the rubies

As far as i know there are only two places for rubies.
Is this correct?
Seems there were more spots for them but for the life of me i cant remember
Only places i know of for sure are Verdantis and Midmaer Passage. Also the small spider caves in North Naryad Pinelands, North Majestic Forest and Brisach Maple Forest. Ohhh and Highvale.

Honestly i thought there was another mine that had rubies.
GIVE ME THE RUBIES. LOL

 

Verdantis was pretty much the go to spot until they "revamped" it to less of a mine and more of an adventure zone. I checked my where to find metals ores & gem forum and I see there's one break down wall room in Paladis Passage and there's the Spider Tunnel in Skrekk for Rubies if that helps any. I'll check my notes later to see if I can find more. Good luck mining!

 

There are plenty of rubies in the Oracle Colossus scene near the lava. You have to fight fire elementals and earth elementals in the area.

 

Thanks for the info. Yeah i pretty much dont like Verdantis at all now. Spent two hours in there. Was pretty much adventure and less mining. Not really sure what the point was to make all the mines this way. LOL. I need to run to Graff Gems and check out the new area....but i doubt they put any rubies in there. LOL

Seems to me, the passages are the best to mine for gems still...

 

If you don't want to mine - try searching the shaping room in the epitaph, there's usually a couple of rubies and sapphires to be had, along with a lot of creosote (bonus - there is also gem recipe's and a founder level alchemy table)

 

There are no rubies in Graff, last I checked. Emeralds, Garnet, and I think a few Sapphire (if I'm remembering correctly). No ruby for sure, tho.

 

You can pick up rubies in Highvale, along with silver ore. No xp to speak of, but it easy to grab and go.

May you roast in lava for suggesting Oracle Colossus... LOL... Puzzle at the ruins to get into the zone, then river of lava with puzzles to solve... there was death everywhere! If there are rubies deeper in the zone, bless the souls of anyone with the mind & jumping skills to get to them!

P.s. Confirmed no Rubies in Graff as well.

They're there

I believe there are some rubies in the Rise also among the numerous gem rooms, although I was only there once so may not remember correctly.

 

Graff and Spindrift Passage, also Midmaer Passage iirc

 

In the river ..... I knocked them out of fancy armor Prince Rhaegar Targaryen wore when he dared to face me, Stag man to boy dragon, at the Trident ... his fancy rubies so colored the river it is now called the Ruby Ford.

I've had a lot of luck mining trolls for gems lately. After they invaded the pass near my home in Aldhaven, I tend to have to kill several just to get around. I get tons of fragments and whole gems

 

I remember getting some in the spider tunnel at the beginning of Malice dungeon.

 

Some rubies in the Obsidian Wolf cave in Deep Ravenswood.

I have Paladis Passage noted as a place for rubies. Also there is usually a ruby or two in the sack loot around the underdweller chamber in The Epitaph, unless it's been nerfed away.

The gem I find hard to find in good number is emeralds, but one of the mines (Graff?) has a few in the basement.
