I wandered around Owls Head, Kings Port, Ardoris, Braemar but no luck finding deed vendors.

You can also buy lot deeds in the add-on store.

I bought a row house lot deed this weekend for $85. It will have rent when the game goes live. But it ensures that I'll have another place to call home in what is going to be a very regional game. I think having multiple houses is going to be a very nice luxury to have once this game starts for real.

One of the most great adventures I had in UO was placing my first house, why would I negate my self that great adventure?
Tbh using RL money to get a house in game sounds lame to me.
