x1.0 is a lie!

Previously, I planted some cotton in a greenhouse (growth rate x2.0) and my plants were ready to harvest in about 24 hours. Three days ago I planted some cotton on the top floor of my stone row house, where the growth rate is x1.0 (or so it says when I set down the planter) but my plants are still sprouts! What gives?

The rate shown is for the planting bed, I believe. However, note this from the Release 27 Instructions:

 

Maybe it's a typo on the display.

 

Maybe some chain lightning to blast a hole for the skylight? maybe?

 

My Immortality plant has not grown at all, and I planted it over a month ago... .... . It is also indoors in my row house.

Either that or they felt sorry for row home owners not being able to grow some plants, attempted to make it so that you would get x1.0 on the top floor and just failed.

It's a conspiracy! They are really using logarithmic scales to calculate the growth rate!

 

Maybe you should put it near the window..

Well, either way it's a bug, so I reported it.

 

I wonder... My plant was also reporting 1.0x, this was on the top floor of my 2-story Stone Row House.. I moved it to the ground level, and it switched to 0.1x which is the correct value for growing indoors.. maybe it will grow now..? In any case, definitely a bug.
