WAsn't a huge majority was a minority, read it again (don't count yourself)

You are clearly a minority, not only that but when you get called out on being contradictory you don't reply because you know you talk out of your arse. I'm done with you, first person on the ignore list.

One more wrench for you: imagine UO didn't have the Recall and Gate Travel spells. :)

So, you'll completely ignore the villages, places like the esther cove or port merrel? Crafters will be all over the place, not just the inner city. It will be up to the player to find the best crafters, they aren't all going to be in the city. Not to mention how much of a pain will it to get back to the cities? Will they be close to where I am?

What?!? First while one can purchase a lot, there is no purchasing the location, that is subject to the " land rush " to place, and no one on God's earth knows where the " good" locations will be. My own opinion is if you have a valued crafter, they will find you.

Yep, then any possible advantage from pre placement is lost.

The only reason was because it was easy and more convenient.....put the work in you will always get the reward.

Not sure. I have heard that if you decide to move your home to a new lot, all the items in your house will be put into your pack. I would imagine they would include a feature to automatically decorate the home the way it was on the previous lot.

AFAIK, after the dust settles, if you find an open available lot you claim it. You do not have to unclaim your old lot before claiming the new.

I'll have to try to remember where I saw or heard that

No, but my question is whether the time you have to wait is going to be longer than what we've seen in pre-alpha. I can imagine they could set that as long as they want, even requiring people to wait a week to switch, just to make sure people aren't gaining too much of an advantage.

Have they given details on how they intend the lot claiming process to work for guild properties rather than player properties?

Only players with multi plots will be able to move to a new plot, anyone with only one would risk losing their plot if the other is taken before they travel to it.

So all the landowners get special treatment to save a plot for them to make a move. I should have realised the big backers get all the perks.
So If anyone earns the gold in game and heads for a plot they know is empty they can miss out to anyone who already owns a plot.
