Ouch! That would suck hard. The the exp bot just farms endlessly in the easiest way possible and in one day, gust ball mania.

If u do that your wasting time. All of the xp you accumulated could have been put into your skills while you were accumulating it

I'm not the one going around calling my fellow players cheaters.

Then the bar *IS* useful even when you aren't macroing (something that can't really be considered cheating anyway, since portalarium is selling the stuff to do it). So, say what you mean.

You are right of course. But the reason people go to all the trouble is to min/max skills. Natural combat tends to skill lots of things and it can be a pain to level up a new skill. So people go farm profitable mods with the best "farming skills" they have and then strategically apply the exp to the skills they want by using the gust ball. That is the only legitimate gripe I have heard in the arguments about that. It is not wrong to want ideal stats and skills. It is not wrong to do extra work to get those skills. My issue is with the macros because humans, not computers should be playing.

I dont have a problem with it because you could do it quicker by using that skill while killing stuff. Locking your skill saw that it gains no experience while you accumulate experience and then later use that same experience you just accumulated is doubling your time it takes to level that skill. However you are managing skills to train on a Gusta mall you can manage them the same way while killing stuff and accomplish the same thing without having to do one thing first and then another you can do both at the same time

The proposal I made was to allow people to manually select the skills to level when they have become eligible (used enough) and there is sufficient adv experience. That will allow min/max'er to do their thing and still play normally and give the power to every player equally.

There are, of course, two exceptions to this you guys are forgetting about: Crafting and refining. The xp gain from using these abilities is so miniscule, you have to fill up your bar on gathering, then use it for these. Which is, functionally the same as gustball training on fighting skills. Any plan to remove that bar, would ALSO have to address the issue of Crafting and refining not being stand-alone levelable.

I know I'd be perfectly happy with this. And I could stop being grumpy with my gustball!

The gustball gives you no advantage over not using it
EDIT: Anymore. It used to until they increased skill XP consumption

Thanks for the entertainment. In the end, its gonna be what its gonna be. Lets hope it will be more of what makes a great game and attracts a lot of interesting people with the cash to help with EP2.

I hope so, although I haven't seen anything said that appears to address it (acknowledging that it's quite possible I missed something).

Me either, but the standup corner says they are working on soemthign called "Eureka Crafting", no clue what that is. And there was mention recently of having "events" that occur that have something to do with the new progress bar that happens when u craft, but im not sure.

I have barely played this release and am getting close to mastering archery. I cant wait for them to remove the 4x so it can not be so quick.
