I also get better information about my skill gain speed and xp pressure from the visual bar than i get from the tool tip

Same way a moving bar graph is easier to get info from than a list of numbers for me

Since the maximum value of those bars change while the pool is filling or depleting, it doesn't show anything useful. In other words, there's no reference.

It shows the ratio of experience gained vs experience spent as it changes

Not to detract from the point that it can be used to create a perceived understanding up the experience relationship. But the perception is a complete fallacy. It is not a ratio. It can be zero for example and that does not mean that the experience gained was zero, it means all experience has been spent. That is why the bar has to go. It is misleading and adds no real value unless the player is cheating.

Again, you go accusing people of cheating. I use that bar all the time, explain to me how I'm cheating.

Not going to bother repeating. Nothing personal. Cheating is cheating.

So, playing the game, with no macroing or automation is "cheating?" really?

Apparently "cheating" is anything Tahru doesn't like.

What one percieves as the bar drops, is that the ammount of experience gained from a kill is more, in relation to the ammount lost while using skills.

Let's avoid making things personal. I call it like I see it. I was specifically referring macro'ing in every conversation regarding cheating. If you want to push buttons, it is not cheating. My view has never changed.

Yeah, I understand the perception which I was trying to get across in my response. It is not accurate though because the skills are draining it in a non-predicable manor because the bar is but one part of a larger equation.

The bar essentially shows how slowly or quickly your active skills are training, which helps you choose suitable areas to train

A much desired improvement would be to provide and indicator to that effect that accurately reflect it. Killing a mob yields x gross experience, regardless what part goes to the skills or the pool. Right now we only the adv experience which is not telling the truth about it.

I dont think seeing the bar affects botters, because thier skill is still gonna go up as long as they are killing things

True... you are referring to exp farming bots. That is a clear violation of the EULA. The more controversial one is the gust ball technique of maxing out the pool and then draining it on a gust ball. If the bar is not there, the top of the pool would be unknown.

    But
the bar does act as an accurate indicator tho, as it fluctuates based on gained experience and spent experience.

I disagree. You kill a bear and the bar does not move. What happened? You can guess... and that is only because you "get it" and just assume to ignore that one and try again, best out of three? In the end, it was not needed.
