    I lost as well, but that is gambling. Don't be fooled by the statistics, gambling is gambling. I have a 98% to mine successful yet I have had 5 in a row fail streaks. Anything less than 100% is a gamble.

    I was not a fan of the raffle and I am still not a fan. No more, no less. What I am really asking myself is how come they are giving away so many at once. If they continue at that rate, none of the deeds will be worth more than corpse wax.

    My inner sinik would say that maybe the real reason behind it is to (1) create more need for houses and house items creating more demand for addon store items and (2) to sell more COTO's to buy the tickets. I hope that is not true, but if it is, it is. Maybe they can make enough not to do another Kickstarter.
    There is evidence that the gold sink reason was not true because they said that there is not enough gold in the economy at the same time and even have instituted free gold in the game.

    By the odds posted I expected to win more than 50 with my friends and between us we got 18. It's hard to complain because we came out ahead, but it seems that either we were very unlucky or they more than doubled the amount of tickets sold after the post. It was hard not to buy after the odds post and we all have less than 10k gold each now.

    But that's okay, the deeds will benefit people who wish to live with me. Or at least near me :)

    I consider the lottery a epic failure. I supported it because it was a way for new players to get a chance at property ownership. This turned out to be the haves getting more then they could ever use. 79 lots for one player is just #%&@ stupid.

    Of course its a failure......it's not the lottery which is the issue....... Its running a lottery with too many deeds and not enough player. The funny thing is, it's going to happen all over again next month.

    The way I see it, is you can either complain about it, or buy tickets. I'm gonna keep buying tickets. Don't worry about the state of deeds, or others less fortunate.. worry about yourself. :)
    The raffle was as fair as possible, given the circumstances and exploits.
    Next month there are sure to be more players, and maybe less deeds, things will be ok guys. :D

    It's a misrepresentation. One person spent 3 million gold and ended up with more deeds. Nothing shocking and totally expected. He could have chosen the low road and sold the gold for cash to cheaters, but instead he played the game and gained a bunch of POT-only deeds to enable use of his POT.

    Regarding the original comment about the rich getting richer, that is just the way it is in games and real life. It's not cheating. The rich using their richness to get more is not in itself cheating.

    I am highly and publicly against cheaters, gold sellers and etc. There is no foul play here. Its is safe to move on...

    Hows that? Numbers have peaked an fallen. Players actually have to login to get the freebie.......there will probably be more tickets bought but it will be the same people buying them because the playerbase isnt expanding. 675 in one month within a very limited playerbase is bad enough.......doing it twice is borderline incompetence.

    Their plan is to introduce alot of deeds early on to encourage people to trade them and then reduce the amount as months go by.

    I wonder if I show up in there, I don't even run it with the Steam client (just updates!), and I know I'm not alone... that's a trend too.
