SotAwiki Update Thread

I've listed the gem/enchanting results for the 2 possibilities of all 8 jewels in the Gem Abilities thread for jewelry. (I tested on necklaces & some rings, seemed to be same results.) That should cover jewelry and weapons, I will work on chest armor gemming/enchanting results next after I mine more gold.

 

Thanks @Arcadeguy. I'll try to get these into a table for the wiki and update the old Enchantment effects.

Thanks! I'll try to start my pass through recipes this weekend. I've been away for a little over a week, so I'm sure I'm missing a LOT of R34 changes.

 

Noticed that the http://sotawiki.net/sota/Maple_Bowstave recipe says not used in any recipes which is sill because it is used in the Longbow recipe

 

It looks like in R32, this was replaced with a Maple Long Bowstave, and this old one should be marked as removed. Is the name of the item you see in-game Maple Bowstave, or Maple Long Bowstave?

 

The recipe book lists:

Wooden Long Bowstave
Wooden Short Bowstave

On the Carpentry Station:

Maple Bowstave
Maple Short Bowstave

Pine Bowstave
Pine Short Bowstave

---------
Long Bow
Short Bow

 

Awesome, I love it when those are disconnected. I will... well, I'll have to bang my head against this over the weekend. It looks like others have already renamed all of the component pieces on this, so those will need to be named back, some redirects will need to be adjusted, and then do a refresh of the database. Not hard, just time consuming.

The pictures for the recipe for "chair" have been updated and are no longer the same. I just made the 4x wooden boards one it looks like this:

Tried to make the recipes

Augmented Cloth Chest Half-Armor

and they do not work as listed. Ill diddle with them and see if i can find the error.

 

Starting cooking tonight.

• Noticed all the recipes marked as "Plate Of" now are just the item So "Plate of Sauteed Bass" is just "Sauteed Bass" etc
  
• Sauteed Bass - is 2.5 health per second for 40 minutes
• Sugar Cookie makes (10) sugar cookies - each does 3 focus per second for 1 minute
• Plate of Sugar Cookies does not light up as a valid recipe
  
• Plate of Crackling and Oil - Also not working
  
• Plate of White Cake - Also not working
• Piece of Pumpkin Pie - Makes (6) 1.5 focus per second for 15 minutes
• Jar of Yeast Culture - Makes (2)
• Flask of Vinegar - Is invalid. Lists "Yeast Culture" but there isn't one and it redirects right now to "Jar of Yeast Culture" which makes (2) and is basically weird because you are just making the one of the ingredients....(They need to fix this)
  
• Need to add "Cheese Wedge" - found on another site made with Bottle of milk (1), Lemon (1) Sack Of Salt (1) Jar Of Yeast Culture (1), Cooking Pot (1) - * Not tested as I didn't have a lemon
• Bark Bread - Need to add a chunk of Coal (1) - Makes (4) - +1 health per second for 20 minutes and +1 focus per second for 20 minutes
• Jar of Vegetable Stock - Not working as is
• Flask of Beef Stock - Not working as is
• Plate of Baked Trout - Not working as is

 

Okay I purchase the Trout Recipe now called "Baked Trout"

Yields (2) - 2.5 Health per second for 40 minutes

 

Sorry @brhanson2 and @WeirDave, I still havn't logged in more than once since R34. I started updating food, and now at least have template support for bonuses with a duration. I have some of the bonus effects and updated names, but we will need to do a full pass at some point to check for what recipes changed and what the new food recipes are (the only thing that was said is "the plates and bowls were removed", but that doesn't seem fully accurate). The armor, unfortunately, I havn't seen in several releases. I'll try to get some time to log in soon and pick up the recipes I'm missing.

I've updated the Baked Trout page with the new recipe and effect. Thanks!
