    Perma bad for serious exploits and hacks.

    For temporary ban situations also should include a account wipe.

    All super minor or accidental ones a warning..

    This is all imop.

    Ghost corpion exploit should result in account wipe imop.

    Maybe there should be a general thread for listing exploits - like bug reporting. Part of me thinks game mechanics if abused can be considered exploits... and there are probably game mechanics that people are staying away from because they fear it might be an exploit (SPO->MMO economy). I think perma bans at this stage would need to be reserved for only most severe, or repeat offenders... after all, we are still in early development.

    Well character wipe is laughable on day one. Would be different if we were a year into persistance. I am all for public listing of problematic avatars (and their crimes). It would help others to see that Portalarium deals with exploiters and serve as warning. I am all for people having privacy as long as they do not break the rules. Once they break rules, they should not be protected anymore.

    Posting an exploit notice publicly can also get you in trouble, so please don't do it! We do not want to publicly list exploits due to their very nature. Even with the warnings, there will still be people that will take advantage of seeing an exploit in place.

    Each case should go before the community seeings how this whole game exists solely because of us crowd funders and backers. We the community should be able to vote on perma and temp bans or at least have a say in each and every case. Such a serious issue should never be covered up , buttered up, or hushed !

    I still think Avatars should be able to earn the title Bug Hunter if they turn in really game breaking bugs.

    In addition to a Ban and Wipe, we should mark the character in game with an Ex-con title and lock them in PvP mode for 6 months.

    Please Please.. dont become complacent on cheating and hacking sota has way to many issues for people and cannot afford this one also.

    I love this game and it would make me sad if would be cheaters ruin its reputation.
