This was a great suggestion from OP, and it was nice seeing a quick response from the devs to implement this.

My dream is still to see a Scene Jam for mini-games like Nine Men's Morris, Liar's Dice, Poker Dice, Go, Backgammon, etc.

Ridonkulous and ........... I'm a buyer. Hope the OP gets a royal warrant and/or piece of the action for this stroke of genius.

And the hot tubs. Don't get me started.

    Speedos?

    Thanks dallas!

In looking for massive sales numbers, I'd go even lower on the prices of some of these small items in the future... I'm thinking $5-6 regular with $3-4 sale.

Being the epitome of frugal and the type of person these "microtransaction" items are aimed at, $5 sale still doesn't make me click buy... think of $3 item that pretty much everyone feels like they have buy. That would really add up.

Only if they provide a negative 1000 armor penalty.

Will we be able to craft a similar table top chess set in the future (maybe a wooden one?)

That was my first thought as well. I'd really like a chess set, but at $15 (regular price), its not an impulse buy. At $5, it certainly is.

Or a 2 pack for $5 deal on some things, so you get a pair of them. That would probably get me to buy more multiples of an item. I don't mind $5 for statues, but for like the skull candle, $5 for just one, I just passed on it because it's 1 single candle for $5, it didn't feel like a good deal for me.

The oracle head statue is in the store now too.

Any chance for the Obsidian Lord Statues to make it in?

Captain Jack wonders, has anyone made a list of cool things that are craftable? What if you can only craft throwaway weapons, and nothing at all cool like the things everyone is proposing? What is the incentive to craft? More importantly, what is the incentive to carry around cool things Captain Jack will be helping...tactically distribute?

Already in R22 the best weapons and armor is crafted.
The ones you get from store or pledge does not give the benefits that crafted does.
So crafted gear is already better, and will continue to be better than store/NPC bought.

However this topic is about decoration items. Specifically deco items in the store.

Yes, Captain Jack's very point. He wonders simply if crafting inclined players are going to be able to craft interesting stuff for people. Will Captain Jack be able to craft things for his ship(it is coming boys and girls, trust Captain Jack), or is he strictly limited to buying the more "cool" decoration items from the online store?

From what Chris and other devs have said in the past, everything will be able to be crafted in-game. The items that are in the Add-On Store, and part of pledge packages, generally only have different appearances. For example, the Ornate items in the Add-On Store almost all have craftable versions in-game, and I'm sure the ones that don't will eventually.

As the crafting skills expand, I'm hoping to be able to craft everything from houses and ships, to street signs and water wells, to clothing and jewelry. If it exists in the world, we should be able to craft it!

So yes, you will be able to craft things for your ship. They won't look exactly like what is in the store, but they will have the same shape/function.

It would be great if all items, even the small ones would be also craftable.

To avoid complains of Add On Store competing with ingame craftable items maybe have them in a different material.

So basically like you are already doing it with the intruments and hats.
2 versions - craftable and Add On Store Version.
