An Original Vision Restored - And Free Kittens!

I'd like to thank the devs for restoring the original vision of the map, as we all saw in the 6 month video that is still posted on the www.shroudoftheavatar.com website.

This fills me with a newly refreshed hope, respect, and confidence that our game is indeed in the right hands.

I'd also like to reward some of the folks, in my own little way, who worked so tirelessly to help make this happen.

Thus, there are free kittens up for grabs! (I love kittens, don't you?)

The terms are very simple.

Send me either a PM or post here in this thread, a link to a thread where you supported restoring the original vision of the 3D map, and if you are one of the first five respondents, I will send you a free kitten!

I will also list publicly who the kittens were sent to, so you can see it is indeed above board and indeed free kittens were sent out. I wish I could do a hundred kittens! But unfortunately, limited resources at the moment enable me to only do 5 additional kittens.

So, based upon the above, who wants kittens?

Also, just FYI, serious thunderstorms coming up. If I get knocked from the net, kittens will be delivered ASAP at earliest opportunity once all 5 slots have been filled.

I tried not to harp on it, but I've posted a lot in various threads since R4 that I didn't want to be mean to the devs, but I really didn't like the design and that I felt it hurt immersion, a core tenet of the game.

I have read other threads of yours where you have supported the original map idea as well, so, congrats, you get the last kitten!

Once I've verified everyone's info is correct, I'll purchase the kittehs and send them out, and post a copy here.

I had a 'Morris' cat once that drank Rolling Rock. He'd knock the bottles off the table or counter and lap up the beer when it spilled on the floor. Learned real quick to have no open bottles around that cat.

Had another cat one time I named 'Lestat', because he had these huge fangs. He was an adorable cat, except that he had this habit of running up to people he didn't know, sinking those fangs into their Achilles' tendon, and running off.

And yet ANOTHER cat I had, many, many years ago now, would chew through the end of the bread bags to get to the bread. But she'd only eat the end piece. Then she'd go over to the other loaf of bread, chew through that bag, and nibble a few bites off of THAT end piece.

Then we wake up the next morning and all the bread is hard as a rock, and the cat would be sitting there like... what? Why joo lookin' at me like dat?
