Funny that everyone is so in rage that it takes a obscene high lvl in taming but has anyone thought about the fact you will need only lv 79 to call it. Sure it will not be an full power, when called with lvl 79, but I dislike the most that everyone can use it but only a few can tame it. It is a big creature that is not easy to obtain but easy to handle. thx no.

 

Agreed, 79 is achievable in 30 mins in ut. There is ZERO investment at that level.

 

i can confirm, obsidian destroyer is not tamabe in this state. at taming 200 (in ofline mode) i used more tham 200 collars on him but no chance.. (more than 400
attempts). and yes, he has beaten below 1k hp

 

@Chris Any updates on the bear taming issue?

 

I tried the 13k one and could not land a root on it, chris said there is a root fix in general coming.

 

Did anyone else noticed an unusual high usage of taming collars? With GM Collar Recovery I burned through my collars in no time trying to tame the <1% Ferocious Obsidian Bear. Basically it used one every try, only here and then it did not use one.

 

its normal if you taming high level animals. to not lose too mouch colars, you must keep you recvery skill high like your taming skill

 

I updated the "Beary Sorry" thread with the following statement:

UPDATE 9/6/18: There are some issues with taming numbers and stats with these bears that we are trying to solve. We understand everyone's passion about taming and please be patient with us as we try to come up with a solution for this.

 

I noted this and my recovery is GMed.

Yeah the bears stats seemed a lil low...if you could boost the bears hp to like 60k that would be better.

 

Don't get me wrong. I love this game, but how does this go live before this problem is realized?

• The person that made the bear didn't try to tame it as part of the design process?
• Players on test server aren't given an opportunity to try to tame it?

Note to dev team: Please make sure someone actually tries to tame a wyvern before you release them...

if you have 150 taming and taming some animals that need 150 taming, jou need to have recovery close to this value to not losing many collars. and mouch higer if you not want lose any colars.

previosly you not loosing too mouch colars, becose normal bears need like 80 taming and you recovery is 100

 

I believe the bears that came out after release weren't ready during qa so that's why we never tested them. Ok as far as it goes for summoning I believer chris stated you will need higher summoning for the end game pets that will only have 1 life, which by all means it sounds like the ferocious obsidian and the obsidian destrouyer could be 2 of these end game pets, cause with that hp... I guess they might be str weak (hit like a aquirrel) or something but if above 100 summoning isn't needed...…. I may be a snith an turn someone in for smoking something not legal..... rofl
