Cap for Sieges removed explained it was a mistake, a fix for somthign else should not have hit siege

    I didn't realize it was nerfed but you can get a lot of wood / wood parts from Reapers. Mysterious Swamp has good cycle of like 4 and can do this 'circle' a few times.

    There are some low level forest zones with lots of harvestable trees I can zip around and get a ton of wood plus the extras (bark, etc) for less effort.

    less effort for you maybe. sieges are no effort and repeatable for many farmers

    Scale it all, I might play again if theres some challenge other than mashing my button and or casting fire ring and killing everything.

    Sieges are low effort for me too. ;) Just this is even lower effort.

    How is it lower effort if your adventure level is being brought down to 80 and skills capped at 100?

    I'm talking about how things are today. I already don't use sieges to farm wood. I simply won't be using them for the daily anymore, either.

    Maybe Corpus or one of his buddies got tired of getting beat up everyday and asked to nerf the players.

    I will not fight against Port game design decision, but would not it be better if you first ask with a public discussion and see what your community think about these topics?

    Seems like opinion of players is pretty clear, seems like no one like hard caps in PVE.

    And yeah, i would like to hear developer's explantions too, want to know what drove this decision, and what they are going to do with this game, because if hard caps are the new way to solve problems I am done with it.

    Dev open discussion, thats what I mean. I have been co-working with some game devs in the past and they got really good community feedback from these official discussion threads. I would like to see those here.

    I've no doubt that the lead dev did what he always does, and that is to consult with his chosen few in the Blood Bay channel - and this is the result.

    I just hope you are joking, there is a riot in blood bay channel for this change, the choosen elected are probably somewhere else.
    What surprise me is that you're in the channel, and talk without any information.

    FYI last time a dev talked in blood bay channel was many months ago.

    I am sorry but if they consulted "with their chosen few" in blood bay channel probably sieges would be open pvp with no skill cap. ( Blood bay channel is not a private channel btw, you can ask and they ll invite you, even if not interested in PVP, but I am going to delude you, devs are not talking anymore in there from a long time )

    not to burst your conspiracy theory but

    the last message from a portalarium dev in that channel was 01/23/2019. it was about physical goods to backers.

    the last message before that was 01/06/2019. it was about packet loss.

    do not mistake a lack of direction in pve for a surplus of pvp attention. it is truly a complete work of fiction. It also undermines our entire community to monger fear in such a polarized way.

    Scene capping :( I can’t belive this is a thing in sota. How about better design decisions vrs nerfing everything.
