Correct in that it was done, but it was never common even back then. I think that it actually was with the former moderation authority that the instruction not to merge came about. This since a merge can easily confuse the topic immensely if not done right.

Then post about agriculture! I know for a fact that other users besides yourself are interested in that subject, so give them something to participate in!

Put up screenshots of your gardens. List what crops you are growing. Relate some troubles you've had; post what you like about it and what you don't like about it.

Hell, make a agricultural journal which you periodically update, to give us progress on your successes and failures.

The more positive content, the better.
