    Like Chris said, nothing changed with average dmg. But yes, there is something wrong with bludgeons even before r50, its not new.

    I logged in earlier and have been noticing my melee damage seems lower...:(

    I have not tested the damage much but it does seem low. The worst part is shooting the back of a training dummy and not critting. Was this changed @Chris ?

    O and I picked up a few more points of dex and STR somewhere.

    I'm killing Torc at same time using bow, maybe bit slower with polearms but I think all this changes are related to the new combat formula. We got a buff with defensive skills. Using block, parry and doge just in time gives you a huuuge buff now compared to past releases, and to compensate maybe we hit bit less? only devs could answer this now.

    edit: the back hits...something weird there.

    LOL, so nobody created a bug report for the critical hit chance from behind being broken? Seriously, if you want an issue to be seen then you need to make a bug report.

    I believe that cover has also been broken since, at least, R49 but I need to find somewhere that I can clearly demonstrate it and make a video.

    nothing has changed other then they took out the top and lower end damage and made it closer to the average. so if you were shooting a mob with bow:

    Before:

    Are you all sure you are behind the enemy? They did say the mob facing turn was no longer delayed, and as such circle strafing would be much, much more difficult. If you don't have someone else holding the aggro, they are probably facing you enough to not be back attacked now. If someone else is holding the threat, then yeah probably a bug.

    I don't seem to get any better chance for critical hits from behind than i do from the front and this is with 150 dex and archery and in scenes not on training dummy.

    Tested now with Torc, and you guys right!!!! I think the issue is linked to crit % chance from back (the dmg looks fine). We will hear something from devs soon I guess.

    I was having really bad desynch issues in some scenes today (mobs half way across the map hitting me). so I was contributing the lack of back crits to that mostly.

    I did a run through The Rise with almost 170 Dex instead of the 186 in the picture above and it felt about the same.

    I'm looking at the math now and I don't see how this could possibly be wrong. Do recall that all combat math changed this release BUT critical hits should still double from behind. I'm waiting on syncing at home and I will test this as soon as I can but from looking at the code, I think I got it right but I've been wrong before!

    Vespers tested on a dummy and had 10/50 from the front and 21/50 from behind. When strafing Torc'Dawl though I KNOW I'm behind him but getting way more non-crits than crits (usually other way around).

    Not sure it is math, the game just doesn't think I'm behind him.
