The owner types /slew
Great... Now how do you get out of it?
You gotta use the window selector, pull up your chat box, and type /slew again to get out of it.
Thanks again Gents.
@DarkStarr & @Chris
Just wanted to tell you guys that it feels good that you brought back thunderstorms and lightning...
I'm sitting in my Keep right now... Reading a book, sipping my tea, while in real life, I'm writing a post, and sipping my coffee.
The wind is howling outside my stone walls, the trees are shaking, the claps of thunder can be heard, and the flicker of the lightning bolts stream in through my windows.
I certain air has returned to my online life. The mystery, the beauty...
I can almost feel the fireplace in front of my avatar heating my bones while the countryside is ravished outside the thick walls that surround me.
I'm thankful to have shelter from the storm...
Goodnight Blackrock Cove... Goodnight Novia... Goodnight New Britannia...
Well right now it is /slew but after watching Chris’ live-streams video from yesterday, it may end up changing to /fly or some other name.
These thunderstorms were the first thing that made me say "WOW" out loud infront of my wife. And it was in your town zeke! I remember just trying to cross that little river to reach the small island where you had a bar, because I was too stupid to know how boats worked back then, and got scared by how crazy the storms could get in your town. I am also glad this feature is back, because it is a great visual one!
The last time I heard @Chris mention it on his stream (which, admittedly I don't get to watch all of them), he said they were planning to keep the current system where the default Row lots contain a home, but sell a "Empty (Row Lot)" home on the in-game home vendors. I'm assuming this is to keep as much of the original purpose of Row lots (breaking huge line-of-sight areas in larger cities to improve frame rate and appearance) while providing some flexibility (and gold sink).
I havn't heard an ETA, but since its just a home I'd assume it could be patched in whenever it is ready to go.
And honestly this is a perfectly fine solution, just needs to happen !
Totally agreed. I don't care how they do it, just so long as they do it! There is so little I am interested in currently, but this would get me playing more.
In the meantime @Cordelayne
I happen to have a huge plantation in Blackrock Cove...
I could probably add you to a 378 plant cell for a garden if you would like...
Up to you...

You can also hit the escape key twice. I believe that works as well.
I love the storms in Blackrock @Violette Dyonisys
First time we saw one roll in, a group of us, I forget who all was there, were standing at the end of Scimitar Wharf watching lightning bolts streak down on the sea before the storm smashed into land with an apparent force that was evident in the shaking of the trees. It was an awesome sight.
I'm SOOOO glad the storms are back... Blackrock Cove is situated right on the edge of the Bay of Storms, and it's just fitting to get a bad ass storm every once in a while.
As always my friend, I appreciate your generosity! Yet, when I said garden I meant more of a walled off little plot with flowers, fountains and minimal actual upkeep!
Cordelayne, I was also really excited about the row lot change to allow farming. But, when they added the free village lot deed when you get your shroud of the avatar, it became less important to me. I have two village lots now set up for farming. You can fit two of the iron greenhouses on one village lot, and still have lots of room for some more large, medium and small planters all around the greenhouses.
If you already finished the shroud of the avatar quest, you can still get the village lot deed. Just go to an oracle and ask for it. It is flagged "no trade" so you can't sell it. UNLESS you upgrade it to a saleable deed by right clicking on it and spending some crowns to change the deed.
If the shroud of the avatar quests have always been too hard or too broken for you to finish, don't worry. Those quests mostly work now. There are dozens of videos on youtube that give exact steps in detail as to how to get your shroud.
Congrats to the team on another great release!
As always, I look forward to the continued improvement and additions to the game. Thank you Dev team!
Such a kiss ass!!!!!
Thanks for your opinion. It's been......filed
