SOTA Movie Casting

If you were the casting director for a Shroud of the Avatar movie, which actor or actress would you cast to play your character and why?


For Audacity, I'd choose Zooey Deschanel. Aud is dark but in a quirky awkward sort of way that I think Zooey would nail.

 

I would be played by myself. I don't know if anyone else could pull it off.

 

Plus you have that awesome beard and hat!

 

I actually spent waaaay to much time trying to get my character to look like me. I almost got the eyes right, but they are always covered by my Epic Cloth Hood. Which is kind of like when I go into Kigu mode. This is actually what I am wearing:



Kigu is short for Kigurumi, the name of that type of outfit. Starfish is what I call when you lay down on the bed with your arms and legs stretched out. So I decided that my online identity should embody that ritual and I became Kigu Starfish aka Kor.

Hmm... interesting... so everyone seems to see him or herself in the center of that movie... which is only natural, since the game makes us all belief, that you and only you are the one true chosen one... well, kind of...
But all in all this movie seems to me like the movie about the latest release of the global phonebook: lots of actors, but no story ... yes, yes... everyone got his/her own story here... but what's the story of the game? I only ask because even with those path of virtue stuff... I kind of miss it in the game up to now.
So maybe before casting actors find someone to write the story then? Who would that be? For me I think about David Weber would be great... maybe he can come and really come an help the team with the story a bit...

Dang, I totaly forgot who I would like to see bringing my character to the big screen... well... I think Cadlina Molari should be played by Tilda Swinton. I loved here performance in Dr. Strange (other movies, too of course)...

The people who know me would agree, it would have to be Jack Black.

 

You would think by my Avatar it would be Jaime Murray who played HG Wells in Warehouse 13 or Stahma Tarr in Defiance and I loved her in both roles but I have to go old Old School with Linda Hamilton from either Beauty and the Beast or Terminator 2 (she was a little cray cray in Defiance and Lost Girl lol)
