Has the wrong listing of Difficulty levels for it (there is no Easy level). It currently only has the following levels: Normal, Hard and Extreme.

 

I have recently been running around Lamech’s Bazaar recently (on Easy) and just observing and collecting numbers like I always do. There are the 4 different version of this scene, but they all share the same area, but only differ in the specific creatures that can be found in each different one. Would it be ok to start building a bestiary for each different level on the main Lamech’s Bazaar main page? Like specifically a Bestiary for Lamech’s Bazaar Easy (Tier 7).

I wasn't sure if that's how you would like this or not. So I thought I would just ask first. Thanks!

 

I hadn't really thought about it, but it would be helpful to have those listed separately. However, if we list them all on the same page they will still query as the same scene. I wonder if it would be best to create sub-pages for each difficulty? So "Lamech's Bazaar/Easy" would be a page with a bestiary (and resources, etc). I could add a query on the main page that would show them all with the appropriate heading. Then on a monster's page, it would show the difficulty as part of the scene they are in.

Its going to take a bit of code to make that work, so if you want to fill them in different sections on the main page until I get it working, feel free. I'll move them when its done.

Ok, I put together a query that will pull information from the subpages (if they exist) and populate the main page as groups. It will need tested once we have data in place. The Easy version of Lamech's has been created as a test; the creature and resource are placeholders, so feel free to replace. Then, just refresh (edit and save without changes) the main Lamech's page to see the new data.

I'll need to do the same for the resources, but wanted to make sure this worked first. Let me know if it needs tweaking.

 

this could also be useful for the encounter scenes, for instance i filled in the bestiary for all the different things i saw in hills encounters, but of course you don't get them all at once.

 

True. I'd have to create a different type of query for those, and figure out how we want to differentiate them. But that is doable.

 

Ok I populated the https://sotawiki.net/sota/Lamech’s_Bazaar/Easy page with creatures and resources you can find in that specific scene.

When viewing the main https://sotawiki.net/sota/Lamech’s_Bazaar page, the Bestiary listing looks a bit off? (Just formatting wise).

Resources listing is missing.

 

Ok, I see what its doing. Makes sense, and I should be able to fix it. I'll work on getting the resources added as well.

The bestiary relies on just having the creature's name so it can link up to the main page, so I may need to tweak what is listed there.
