Would it be difficult to add something that allowed us to opt out of tips? Or stop a particular tip from showing up again. Maybe an "only show new tips" option?

Just saying make folks aware of the character limit so they do not get too detailed.

Folks are typing/thinking they are submitting tips in this forum without reading the instructions also.

Maybe add something about that again in the instructions that the forum does not count.

 

The more I think about it there's a lot of room for POTs to work a bit differently.

I'd like to see a POT information page instead of "tips" on the POT loading screens. I'd also love to see a "wall" that players could just write whatever - let the POT owners moderate it.

I know I don't speak for all POT owners, but personally I'm ok with people writing all kinds of stuff on the POT wall. Adds flavor.

FOLKS see above you need to use THIS FORM link in main title thread to submit your tips to be eligible. Posting here does nothing.

FYI @Stryker Sparhawk you stole my merv griffon reference from one of my videos LOL. But you need to officially submit it using the link Berek provided.

 

It's about the only bit of participation due to the potential security risks of submitting required information into the Google machine.

 

Just speaking for myself.. the purpose of sharing tips here is for general amusement. Some of us are paying attention.

That is only IF you link your reply to twitter not just replying to the forum. I was attempting to get folks to read and comprehend what they read in its fullness not use context to confuse.

IN addition I am sure it is more cost effective for Portalarium to use the data from the provided form than go through this whole thread to find 'TIPS'

This makes it sound like only ppl who use Twitter and post their tip or a link to this... will be entered into a daily drawing for store credit. Is that correct?

 

Or use the provided submit form that Berek linked but yes posting here will not get you in the daily drawing.

I agree you want account name not forum name that is kind of a precious thing for hackers @Berek . @Stryker Sparhawk has an exceptional point on this.

Because of the google issue I did not submit, but now I am not sure I want to.

Nor am I want to have my twitter account linked to this game .. do we have to make fake ones for this contest? (thats not personal attack on game its just my internet footprint and keeping it small irl)

 

The account name, or ID, means nothing for hackers. Without too much effort you could guess like 20-30% of all our account IDs, and you don't need any special knowledge for this.
