    Verts are high but as always, it's the draw calls that will kill you. Looks like that one has 6 materials each with 3 textures. Not cheap but not terrible.

    I absolutely think the female avatars "need some work"... but not in the meaning of plastic surgery... -.-

    I want to be able to see the difference between a man and a woman, and i also want something i would not be surprised to meet when shopping for food as a example.
    "the girl" seems to be in need of a breast reduction half the volume and it may perhaps be ok.

    Does anyone other than me notice that the male images shared here are all 'interesting' – old, wrinkly, wild haired, etc. – while all the females are porn star candidates? -.-

    I'm looking in the Unity asset store for something other than porn star candidates :) Actually several of the 'casual female'/'business female' models by Mixamo look good to me, but those are contemporary models and not for fantasy games. Most of the fantasy game females in the store are either of bad quality or in weird proportions in skimpy armor.

    Well, the point of all this hubub is: There are really nice base models to work with. They could tone down the excess assets and modern face and fit them into our game. If you start from an already unique model with cool skin tones and a nice face, then maybe you can get some other pretty models.

    In reguards to the male avatar, they could take a tip from the old guy Mishri showed us. I loved the skin tone and the beard was (too short) but a good start :)...

    It looks like the unity store has some good stuff!

    I know this post started as a female comment, but also the guys need to have some great options. I never play a guy but I don't mind looking at gorgeous guys ;)

    so this is a bit better as an example

    Wrong. He posted several times yesterday and this is just an opinion. This thread looks to be pretty eye opening to everyone in the ways of the Unity asset options.
