Wolves and Bears behaving like Does

    If you get the range right you can also snipe NPC humans with your bow and not have them aggro until they are dead on the ground, CHA-CHING!

    Happily, in build 442, they fight back when attacked, so at least the 'Benny Hill' effect is lessened to some degree.

    No, they keep a distance. If its a creature they don't have natural animosity toward (i.e., humans), they generally ignore us if we keep away from them and their homes. If we start edging in on their territory, they will growl and try to make us retreat (bears stand, for example, to make themselves more imposing). Once they feel threatened, or we get too close, they will charge and attack.

    Those would be the behaviors I'd want to see.

    And fixed in latest patch...thanks Devs, this one was frustrating. ;)

    I've been in the Serpent Spine mines and the Kobolds have done same thing, run away like the deer do... I've also noticed bandits in the woods doing same thing randomly... they run like deer.

    I'm thinking it has something to do with what level they are and what level we are and their response to us... they are scared.

    Definitely a programming brain fart. **makes farting sounds**
