Group 1 is Lord of The Manor Royal Founder, a Pledge costing $12,000 (could have been less as a Royal Founder). What Pledge level is your Royal Founder account? Once you log into the site, in the upper right corner of the Main Page of the site is "Account", click on that to see when your lot placement time is if your Pledge level qualifies for lot placement.

Only Ancestor pledge level and above receive house placement lots.

Does your pledge level include a lot deed?

For the initial land rush sequence, you need to be at least Ancestor or higher. All add-on deeds come after that. If you have at least an Ancestor pledge, and your account page does not show a selection group, I would email support@portalarium.com.

The minimum pledge level that came with a housing lot was ancestor at $275 i believe. You'd have to either be ancestor or higher in pledge level or have purchased a home from the add-on store to place a lot. Your pledge level should should be visible on your account page, as should any add-on store purchases you might have made.

Evil got it. You see, the wording is what threw me off.

I am a Royal Founder, but my pledge was $60. I was confused at first as to the update saying "Royal Founders go get housing" when I hadn't purchased it. Because of the wording being unclear, I just thought that it was being given to all the backers that were Royal Founders or above.

No. Unless you buy an add-on or a bundle in addition to your pledge.

Sharrael, please note this does not mean you will never get the chance to own a plot of land in the game! After the initial land rush, in the next release (I think) there will be a system in place for players to acquire land. We are unsure of the system, possibly some type of lottery, but fear not, you will have a chance!

It is a lottery system and its coming in R33. What I'm afraid of is that large guilds will buy up huge amounts of lottery tickets, gaining a significant advantage over small guilds and individuals. What they need to do is make it so that you can only buy one lottery ticket per account for each drawing. That's the only way to keep it totally fair.

Yes, but there will always be limited housing . It's not really clear yet how much additional capacity will actually be available. I noticed that now persistence started many more people are playing, so we'll see if that continues or if it's just for the land rush and there'll be a ton of empty plots. Hard to tell until September what the situation will be

    Help me to understand this.
I haven't paid much attention with RL, but I am a KS backer with only a value of $102 (digital collector), which includes the alienware bonus.

From what I read on the first post, I am just a peasant waiting for the free for all land rush correct?

For $108 you don't have a land deed or a house, so you really aren't waiting for anything at this time. You could start saving up to buy a deed at some point, either through the lottery or from a player.

Or upgrade pledge to Ancestor or higher before it expires in 13 days.

I know that we can't trade lot deeds... EXACTLY when does that end?

One issue with this potential solution, there are a number of people who have many accounts. Envy has something like 14, Blake Blackstone at one point had ~12. That puts those players at a significant advantage over your average Joe backer with only a single account. Heck, AnsheX (the resale website) copped to owning around 100 ancestor level and they sell homes for a profit. It's entirely possible they own many more below that amount. The chances of them winning multiple lots given the amount of accounts they own is extremely high. Their incentive to do so is easy to understand. They turn around and rent or sell those homes for in game cash as a business. No judgement from me, just saying the fact that those conditions exist make the one man one lottery ticket not an equitable fix. Hopefully they have some scheme to make a more level playing field.
