They are beautiful creative works of art that some Dev spent time on. Put them all in the Britannia museum

I don't mind the wind generators, once I realized I could turn off the crackling electrical part of it. If I recall, in R13 I had an amplifier that would not run until I placed one of the wind generators in my yard.

I'm still hoping for that craftable simpler-designed 4-poster bed. And I promise I will never place it in my front yard....

Agreed! I'm not sleepling well on the peasants queen size pine bed.. Actually I would be happy if we could craft them in red/hard wood to match the upscale redwood furniture already available.

I don't have a problem with the wind generators :> I'm wondering if we'll see windmills and watermills, too... besides the large waterwheels in Ardoris, of course. The baker in UVII who worked with a waterwheel powered mill was fun to visit.

I actually really liked the wind power generators. I hope they'll have a practical use too like powering any mysterious technology that can make use of magical electricity.

Those radios we have in game come to mind :)

My wind turbine fuels my endless rage. Also it keeps pigeons off the roof.

If you are so angry at the pigeons might I recommend an Imp? Once purchased they are pretty much self sufficient and will put a dent in the local pigeon population not only for your house but for your whole neighborhood.

The wind turbine actually makes a fantastic roof ornament on the top of my Knight's tower. Hot tub in one corner, table in the middle with the magical radio blaring and the power generator in the far corner.

Maybe not the most efficient use of the space but it looks like a pretty relaxing environment.

The lawn decorating prowess of some individuals has its merits. For instance, it's a great time saver. When I see something like a Baron Bed in a yard with a large cake in the middle of it, and take a gander at the lot sign, I know immediately all of the following about the owner:

    1) Approximate mental age.
    2) Someone who's name I shall add to my list of people not to associate with.
    3) The odds of seeing something in his/her house interesting is reduced to practically zero.....
    4) Oops, can't say that here.... Anyway, you'd agree with #4 were it allowed to be present here, which of course it isn't...

So, all in all, a great timesaver in terms of forming ingame relationships.........

As for the OP's opposition to the plethora of windmills..... they're better than Baron Beds with cakes......
