What I'd like for Christmas is a stocking that generates coal for my blacksmith.

 

When I first saw the sea of tombstones, I cringed, thinking someone was going to put names on each one manually...

First off, really excited about all the new content to test! I wasn't expecting to see much except the polish/performance upgrades and probably some holiday stuff... but WOW what a surprise! Can't wait to get in and check it all out.

I was wondering about one thing that is sort of pledge related, but also relevant to this release...

The Ancestor Pledge comes with the:

The issue I see with this item is that Ancestor Pledge comes with a row lot deed. Since row houses take up almost the entire plot (and entire lot if you use the Stone 2-Story home that comes with the pledge) we therefore have virtually no yard space to place this object.

We will probably be able to place it inside the home or in a basement, or if you use the standard row home you have a small patio at the front door to place it... but a tombstone should be displayed outdoors in the "yard". It's sort of a wasted item that I feel I'll never get to use unless I end up getting a village lot at some point down the road.

 

Fair points but the pledge used to not have any property associated with it at all until we added Row Lots last year. Before that the smallest lot was Village at the Citizen pledge.

 

Basement seems a good place. My cousins were shoring up their *gasp* only 1-story basement and found several tombstones had been tossed in

 

OK, guess I'll have to bury mama under the front porch then.

Or perhaps I'll go with Lord Andernut and try the basement idea.

 

@DarkStarr this development team is off the hook! Some fantastic dedication put into this release. With the attunement system in last release and trees getting various tweaks, why are combos still exclusivity coming from opposing trees? Are there plans to extensivly increase these possibilities?

Example: healing and death have a combo but there is no fire/fire combo...

 

Ultimate goal is to have 100s of combos, if not 1000s

 

I have a couple questions about the pickpocket skill. The first is: right now is it PvP only? The second question is will the Pickpocket skill at launch be PvP only? I ask because I got the impression that it was PvP only so if it is, I hope it doesn't show up in Single-Player Offline.

 

Speaking of them - is it by design that some (many?) of them don't appear on the list of combos? I know of a lot of them that I discovered more or less by chance.

Are they intentionally "to be discovered"? Or it's just the UI lagging behind @Chris creativity with spellweaving?

 

Will the Drum and Harp be added in the next few days? I only see the Flute in the addon store.

@DarkStarr - The comment above states "Clockwork Dogs: These steam piston driven canines will now follow their masters or watch their masters’ homes. In addition to the brass pledge reward version there is an Add On Store steel version." but the Add On Store dog is actually listed as silver.

+1 to epitaphs in the tombs. That will make the gavetard a place to spend the next couple of years. Like name plus simple phrase.
