Austin actually, though one of the previous Ultima games (U7 or SI?) had a Dallas Cowboys easter egg.

Damn, new character creation options are looking fine! ;D

Also enjoyed the new dialogues and seeing people around town.

Buut, the game is dropping on FPS pretty hard some seconds after starting up, which is leaving it unbearable, kinda heavy. x_x

I'm formatting my pc right now since it's been a good time since I've done it, I'll be trying again later, but after all, my pc does need some upgrades anyway. xD

Hoping my pc here can gather up strength to try again later tonight. ;D

I just want to chime in and say to the devs that I'm really impressed with everything. The towns were more populated than I expected. I think all your work is paying off, and will continue to pay off. Great job to all of you.

Hello, we pushed out an incompatible change with a bunch of fixes - Mac and Linux users need to download new versions (make sure it's p3 in the filename). Thanks for understanding!

With the latest patch, I seem to have graphic hesitations issues; in that I have fluid animations for up to 30 secs, followed by 5-10 secs freezes (music and sounds are fine)... repeat.

Tought initially that the patcher might have been the culprit (max upload bandwidth feeding the peers) but shutting it down made no difference.

Phillip, did you change any of the graphic or networking settings on that latest patch?

Anyone else experiencing (it could be local and is so no point in bugging the issue).

Shut down game and restarted it, all is smooth. Must have been gremlins....

I appreciate the dev's hard work to roll out this newest release. I know how software goes (been in the industry). Kudos to you.

Unfortunately, neither my husband nor I can play. It takes longer to load the login than we're able to stay connected. When we are connected, there is so much lag & choppiness, it's impossible to do anything. But it doesn't last long, we drop after 90 seconds or so. We have good settings, newer PCs, great graphics cards. It's not on our end.

So we both gave up after half an hour of mostly looking at loading screens.

@Caliya: That sucks, sorry you guys had problems. It was crashing/leggy early, but was working better a bit later.

I'd also recommend making sure Windows Firewall has both the launcher and game client with access permissions, so it's not potentially blocking anything. Also, if you have Norton or some other firewall software, I'd check that as well.

Hope we get to see you guys in game! :)

Sooo... aren't there supposed to be crafting materials around? The release says we can craft and should see how much money we can make, but I can't find any and I can't find a place to buy them.... What up?

Drop to SPO (Single Player Online) mode, and retrieve some of the ingredients from the crafting area chests.

Make some money producing carpentry items, and then sell them to "Handac", the merchant at the crafting area.

You can buy the missing base components, that were not available in the chests, from "Handac". :)

Mine runs nearly flawlessly. I am running on a 16GB RAM, OS and game installed on an SSD (solid state drive), and running a GeForce 660Ti though, which is fairly powerful. Is your rig somewhat current in RAM and graphics device?
