Just hire new players, they need it. Give them the bonus resources and they will be making gold and XP, and you're not going to be increasing your cost that much.

If I where an AI (you know the singularity and all that), would I get banned just for playing? Just asking for a friend.

I still keep it going, although it's usually just the things I can put buy orders up for, timber and ingots primarily. Viola puts up leather and spools of thread orders sometimes.

The reason I ever waver is because of the serious PITA that is the vendor interface.

It's easy when I am there with people though, I can transact and also have them make other components that don't exist on the vendor yet. Boards is one I eat up like crazy.

Interface aside, I suggest heavy crafters consider spreading the wealth a bit and giving other players the chance to some of the work. I had two different people milling at the factory tonight, paid out nearly 10k above the materials cost, and still used half of that within a few minutes (I made a couple of houses. (Houses are still too cheap to craft.))

I have to admit milling is exiting compared to mining silver in Elysium.....

These are two lines gathered the the announcement Chris made. He said he did ban players botting the wrong things, and that they previously accepted crafting botters.

People who did insanly large numbers of items.
Anyways, I have yet to see an game that did even remotely enough banning, with people clearly overdoing things.
I mean botting, if you feel the need to bot out of boredom get another game, if you do it out of greed a ban well deserved.

You obviously didn't hear about PUBG banning 1 million users in 1 month alone at the start of this year

I would have to see the statistics... how many bans of alts...
then, players are what brings money in, if they did that much banning <of individual real life breathing people> they for sure did it not out of temper tandrum.

With 3 million plus concurrent players at the time, they had some room to ban.

Probably because most of them are alts for major players who have even a lot of time on the alt. A warning to them to stop.

99% of them would. And yes its just unfair, Chris could ban those people at least for end of X2.

It isn't a temper tantrum. Those banned people will just buy the game again or make new accounts. Banning accounts is a revenue stream for them just like it is for Rockstar in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online. Don't prevent people from cheating, let them do it for a while and ban them so they can pay up again to get right back to it.

Well if they need to play an game that badly they buy new accounts .... nice for the company to rinse and repeat... not that i expect ethical behaviour from a company.... (because if a person behaves in ways that an total ban is an good choice inflicting same person again on the players is .meh.)

And if you kill the mobs that are in lower tier scenes, they give roughly the same coin, so you kill faster, and get money much faster too. There are definitely a few things in this game that are just not worth gathering on your own.

Blood river outskirts, super easy mobs, decent amount of drops per.

I don't know if it's a conspiracy or not but I always see the same people on GTA cheating, being banned, rinse and repeat. Easy money for Rockstar. There's no way they couldn't prevent or reduce cheating if they wanted to.

You can not prevent cheating complete, but you can do it for the most part.
Simple statistic programs already can give you the worst cases, SI progamming an very big chunk...

I think it is more an economical question (banning paying cheating customers versus honest players leaving the game)
