    That was interesting. The narration was a little heavy in the third-person though.

    "After reading old manuscripts Lars was able to rebuild the pyramids of ancient Egypt using only his bow, a pile of sand, and 6 arrows."

    "Lars found that if he shot an arrow into space, the same arrow would eventually found a new civilization in a galaxy far far away."

    "The ultimate arrow trick was performed by Lars as he consumed himself on fire, shot 4000 arrows in 1.5 seconds, and used the fanning of his bow to put out the flames. Do not try this at home."

    "Lars used his mother's basement to roller skate by stationary targets, shooting each one just as the ancient Saracen's would hundred's of years before."

    I thought his arrow release speed was incredible. I didn't even know humans could draw a bow that efficiently and accurately, it's crazy.

    All of those are in an upcoming Part 2. It's true.

    I also had the feeling that the stunts would get crazier as the video went on...and glad he delivered :)

    It must be a sign of exactly how warped I am that I find the Kyūdō video so much more stressful than the OP! What is it that he's trying to accomplish, but has not for 15 years!!!!??? And for the sake of all that is good turn the camera so I can see what he's shooting at!


    A nice counterpoint, nonetheless.

    Rapid and firing on the fly is no myth.
    Maybe most game players just don't like them. They all want a Mage in a Can.

    Great trick shooting but most bows he is using would just bounce off leather armor, sorry. Jus not enough power in them, yeah the look AWSOME but :)

    I didn't say All shots where with weak bows and penetrating chain mail even slightly can be accomplished without going thru more than 1/4 ", Aga not ALL hos bow were low power but any archer will tell you most where and for a lot of the shots with the long bows hardly drew to 1/4 strength :). Again GREAT shooting but target and trick shots are one thing Hurting / killing are another. Not questioning his skills but they don't correlate directly to killing :-(

    I am sure being able to fire 2000 arrows per second and accurately hit a testicle at 400 miles range would translate well to killing. :D
