    But, would Lord British be immue to Shadowgast, doubt though Darkstarr would use that sword on a friend due to its unholy effect.

    Would not be the first time Dakstarr, followed someone elses desires against those who considered him friend. May be a new name, but he has yet to show if he is a new man. Chaos, does what Chaos wishes, and is indeed what it enjoys.

    I expect to see @DarkStarr use some sort of a "not-so-noble" tactic and we'll have to see if @LordBritish is able to overcome said tactic... whatever happens I would like to see bright colors and LACE on those fluffy shirts!

    I can see us exceeding the goal, so this should be interesting. Remember Starr, youth and treachery can overcome old age and skill. (I really had to screw that saying up, but I'm pulling for Starr here). If all else fails, get a bunch of armoirs and box him in.

    I'm afraid my puffy shirts are.. significantly more plain. Rather more like what Joseph was wearing.. only mine are white, black or green.

    I will be in Austin at the time of this duel, in my capacity as Ermine Principal King of Arms. Would you care for a herald to, well, herald your duel?

    How exciting! Definitely worth throwing some coin at. Now, my knowledge of fencing is sadly limited. However, I recall something from my journeys as a wandering beer minstrel ... plucked delicately from the annals of history, a delightful cocktail perfectly suited for just such an occasion!

    A little France, a little Italy, complex with a hint of tragedy; the bittersweet tale of a great swordsman contained in a glass. Gone, yet immortalized in this spirited libation!

    The Lucien Gaudin
    from Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails, Ted Haigh, 2009
    * 1 oz gin
    * 0.5 oz Campari
    * 0.5 oz dry vermouth
    * 0.5 oz Cointreau
    Stirred on ice, strained into a cocktail glass, garnish with an orange twist.

    Lucien Gaudin "was a French fencer, who had a very successful run in the 1924 and 1928 Olympic games, winning two gold individual medals, two gold team medals, and two silver team medals, making him one of the best-performing French Olympians. He tragically committed suicide a short time later in 1934, with some speculating that it was due to a thumb injury he suffered in a sparring match that would keep him from the sport, though others claim it was due to the financial difficulties while working as a banker. Either way, as one of the world’s best swordsmen, he was immortalized in a classic Prohibition-era cocktail named after him, which is much more than many can claim."

    An old but weathered master versus a, er, less old barely trained newbie? Yep, this will be a great two seconds of entertainment. ;)

    Chris: can you block him so we're free to talk behind his back?

    No offense to Lord British, especially is that's not possible....
