I think his question had to do more with Tiers where there were multiple levels because one sold out, such as Baron.

IMO the best way to handle that would be either to let B1 place before B2 before B3, or level the pledge amounts to their respective tier and allow them to place in order of pledge amount above and beyond their respective tiers amount.

 

That leaves a sticky situation where A founder upgrades their pledge to baron 3, and a benefactor is baron 2.. Not a huge deal in my mind, founder should have upgraded while he had the chance. But it would likely be an issue to someone spending 3500 on a game.

 

Oh I don't disagree... but I was just saying those would be the best ways to do it.

 

I guess If I were baron, no matter 1 or 3 founders should go first and benefactors 2nd, and just lump them all together as 1 tier. (But then again, I'd be a baron 3 founder if I were to do it)

 

Does anyone know if any info was given on this? It's not quite Feb. yet...I just feel like I may have missed the announcement. I am getting anxious because of the due date we have to upgrade and still get founder rewards. Also, is it possible to cash in my store products and donate them to my other account's upgrade? If not...MAKE IT SO! Or feel my known wrath. That was a threat. Ándale!

 

Acually, Baron 1 and 2 were two different tiers during kickstarter, whilst baron 3 was added after both the first being sold out

I havnt looked, but im pretty sure baron 2 was $500 more and added a houseboat or somethig?

So, in all fairness it should be

baron 2 -> baron 1 -> baron 3
Because baron 2 is a tier above baron 1 in Kickstarter, and any benefactor should be baron 3 by default. But im not 100% sure on that.

@FireLotus has already made remarks saying the Baron tier is complicated and hasn't been resolved yet. I suggest we all sit tight and wait on their instructions before we jump to conclusions on how they'll handle it. Either way, splitting barons or merging them in one group I'm fairly sure that those who are affected by this probably aren't worried with how it will turn out

 

Baron 3 is the highest tier at 3600, baron 2 was 3500, baron 1 was 3000. So If I upgrade now I'd be a founder, and have paid the most. I don't think that is fair to the baron 2 and 1 people. I think they should be lumped into 1 so a founder who pledged later doesn't go before them.

That is assuming they don't follow a system where your pledge amount, and day/time of pledge can give you priority over someone else in your same tier.

 

The only tentative timeframe that's been mentioned in chat by Starr is March timeframe at the earliest.
