Twitch Drops are live for Shroud of the Avatar (updated October 30)

Watch Shroud of the Avatar streams on Twitch until November 25 to earn in-game rewards. Every reward is bound to your account and can’t be traded.

Fixed on October 30: until today, Twitch showed Connect instead of Claim on our drops for everyone, including players who had already linked. That came from a mistake in how we set up the campaign on Twitch, and relinking could not get around it. The campaign has been set up again and claiming now works. Watch time from before the fix did not carry over, so progress starts from zero. We’re sorry for the hours that didn’t count.

Rewards

  • Twitch Purple Dye, for watching 30 minutes
  • Spectator Lantern String, a house decoration, for 1 hour
  • Twitch Purple Glowing Dye, for 2 hours
  • Spectator’s Clockwork Cat, a house pet, for 4 hours

How to take part

  1. Link your Twitch account to your game account. In game, type /community and choose Open on web, then go to https://community.catnipgames.net/twitch/ and press Link your Twitch account. On another device, get a pairing code on that page and enter it in game with /community link <code>. If the page shows Reconnect on Twitch, press that instead.
  2. Check that Twitch sees the link. Open https://www.twitch.tv/drops/campaigns, press Ctrl+F and search for Portalarium, then click Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues to expand it. Near the bottom, Connection should show a green Connected badge.
  3. Watch a live Shroud of the Avatar stream tagged DropsEnabled while signed in to Twitch. Replays don’t count, and Twitch counts progress on one stream at a time.
  4. When a reward is ready, open https://www.twitch.tv/drops/inventory and press Claim. A drop you don’t claim before the campaign ends never reaches the game.

Getting your rewards

Claimed rewards arrive in your Rewards window in game (the treasure chest button), usually within 15 minutes while you’re logged in. If you’re offline, they arrive shortly after your next login. If a claimed reward hasn’t shown up, open https://community.catnipgames.net/twitch/ and press Check for missing drops.
