Living temple (entire thing of made of living flesh)
Dynamic environment (shifting/moving)
Area where we shift into an astral plane
Anything in the desert (oasis/pyramid style structures). Tracy Hickman is amazing in fleshing these areas out and likely has a lot of ideas (see his Desert of Desolation modules).
Mountaintop ruins or societies (picture ex: incan ruins).
