      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I&#039;m glad I have access to Steam as well as the SoTA client.   <span style="color: #00ff00">Started the update</span> process for my SoTA client at 10:10 CST - about <span style="color: #00ff00">4 hours ago</span>.   Until about 5 minutes ago it was running at 18KB/second on a FIOS network 50GB connection.  It has now jumped to 1.4MB/second at 53% complete.  My usual download speed for updates is 8 - 10MB/sec.<br />
This isn&#039;t a full wipe release so there&#039;s no &quot;land rush&quot; issue to claim lots ... but if this is a glimpse of...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I think there&#039;s a better way to balance combat damage than we&#039;re currently doing in R19.<br />

I believe that regardless of behind the scenes math, 1 point of damage should require 1 point of focus.  Here&#039;s another way of looking at it.  If I do 30 points of damage to your character, that act should require 30 points of focus by my character to perform.<br />
<br />
There are number of reasons I think this would be &quot;better&quot;.<br />

1. Death and Healing magic are currently unbalanced.  Using the above methodology...<br />

<br />
I don&#039;t think that combat should impact shoe or boot deterioration.<br />
<br />
Instead, I think shoes and boots should be handled differently.  I think they should degrade a small amount as you travel in them.  This means that you will never have to worry about fighting in them, but the more you move about the more they will degrade and require repairs.<br />

For instance, I want to cover the floor of my stone basement with wood pavers but I can&#039;t put them against the walls because of things like those half pillars that extend out from the wall. The reason why a big market of players wants this its for the game to be more engaging and skillful, not to spam clicks and buttons for the sake of spamming. <br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[So far, I&#039;ve been able to tackle most monsters i&#039;ve faced in the game as I&#039;ve progressed and as long as they&#039;re not in large groups. But Ghosts seem a bit unbalanced. I was able to take one down, but it cost me more than half my health and about 2/3rds of my focus at combat level 37. When it finally went down i was a bit surprised that it only gave 300 exp and crap loot on par with a skeleton.<br />

It only takes on average 4-6 dmg from my regular one handed attack while consistently dealing out...<br />

I can still see a need for a delay timer to zone again, but no wined up to go to your main house... I know some players will have multiple houses, but the 1st trip should have no delays, please... Maybe we should have to set a default house as our main house...<br />

I just think it&#039;s pointless, I&#039;m a crafter, I&#039;m in SPO, why do I need to wait just to port home? There should be a delay if I want to go to another place, but I&#039;m usually just overweight and dropping off...<br />

I do not think that potions should be including in the skills deck and dedicating a  branch in the focus tree to allow more consumables in your preexisting deck seems to be a waste of skill points.  I think there should be a separate bar along the bottom of the screen with slots for potions / non-wearable items with special attributes.  I think It would make alchemy a much more...<br />

I wanted to preface this new list by saying what a pleasure it has been to be a part of such a unique building experience where we the players are listened to and our input is valued and taken into account. I took a break during most of R17 up til the very end of R19 due to some hardships in real life. Upon returning, I immediately noticed differences...<br />

My idea is to focus on the free attacks but still keep the card deck and have a bit more tactics in the game.<br />
