    The raffle is not the main gold sink, the tax on the additional lots is so distributing them is the goal of the raffle.

    Housing was never only part of pledging, only the tax free housing was. It was always intended to be rare meaning not everyone would have it. This does not mean that no one except for people pledging would have it.

    Yep. By limited housing that meant lot availability was supposed to be limited -- location.

    How many deeds are floating around in the game matters very little to gameplay; it only matters to people trying to preserve the value of deeds they bought, usually so they can resell them for RMT.

    But they said from the beginning of development that there would be a way to get them in game for gold, so its not a change of plans. Its just something where they have to keep in mind balance issues.

    The raffle concept was introduced during kickstarter... let me dig a bit... found it.

    "Lottery system. Tickets are sold for a week and then we hold a random drawing to give away a few property deeds. This will ensure that more people have a chance and makes it more exciting for the masses but could frustrate some players."

    Then it was mentioned in several deep dives as the way forward.

    So this was known during early pledging and predates POTs, although I agree that the POTs should have been much more limited which could have been accomplished by doubling the price back when they reached about 50 of them.

    Pots are limited, how many are actually up and running and created nicely? Most even now are just empty lots. I for one really enjoy Serenite though, great job with that one!
