Sure. Graff looks exactly like Elysium layout-wise, except there's Copper on the top and middle floors and gold on the bottom.

Some idle thoughts here. So... by reducing ore in the market, we're making already expensive finished items, what? More expensive?

Isn't that what happens with supply and demand. More demand for a less available product is only going to drive up the price of finished products?

Perhaps my understanding of economics is really limited. But after dealing with Comcast and their cronies years ago, I think I understand what a scarce resource will do to pricing :)

Thanks Arlin, I may have to work that mine if Elysium gets broken but will mine that one to death between now and R42.

Sentinel I am thinking the same thing, If the ore is reduced yet at the same time the items will wear out sooner due to higher item decay it will lead to higher prices for the ore and a good majority of folks buying non-exceptional mid level weps/armour. Why bother with high end stuff that will be real expensive due to higher gold/silver cost which will decay faster. Prices will skyrocket for gold and silver due to elasticity of demand. We will know after next release. Fortunately I just make my own weapons and armor but who knows there may be a blooming market for mid level stuff. R/Boris/El Pirata

It is a pretty good mine, the last room is the best with a good amount of gold and lots of gems.

I would be quite happy to stop mining if I didn't have to pay 6000g for enough silver to attempt 5 masterworks. Those prices would have to come way down to make it not worthwhile mining my own while also being able to craft more than a couple of things a week.

For tungsten (and nickel) go to Brightbone Pass.

There would also need to be a source of producer XP from crafting.

that has diminishing rewards. your first ingot might net you 500, but your 10,000th will net you 20.

Yes, the 20 XP per ingot will ensure that every masterwork you craft will apply 100XP to your skills. At that rate, it will only take you 200,000 ore , 10,500 coal, and 105 ingot molds to GM one masterworking skill. Have fun!

uh, no. the 20 per ingot is how much you get from making the ingots. how much is pulled from your pool to train is entirely dependent on how much is in your pool. nothing to do with the ingots or how much you net making them.

If all you're doing is crafting, that's all the experience you'll have.

yes, but how much is pulled into a skill is not a 1:1 "these five ingots got me 100xp, so that's how much will go into my masterworking" equivalence.

    I'm well past my 10000th, so that's at least 200000 XP ;)

This is kind of a silly argument, because it actually makes my point stronger, but I believe at numbers that low it would just dump all of your experience into the skill.

i don't know you Lace but i already love you. best way to save are mines is to not go to ones that don't pay out. end of story. that's my play :)
