The colors and fabrics and accent pieces are really pretty, but personally I don't care for this style, but it could be a nice option for those who do.

I deleted all the pictures and video from your post in my quote of it. I really didn't expect to see this kind of photoshopped and sleazy pictures/videos here.

If guys want to surf that kind of stuff on the net, that's all good. But let's keep this kind of smut out of a medieval style game.

 

I feel that as the OP i need to clarify better what i am meaning.

As many know i did far back make a big posting about "females looking wonderful in full armor" .
It is only my opinion of course, but many agreed that Bikini armor is stupid and unrealistic.


But there is a difference in my opinion between armor and casual clothing in the game.

I had the feeling that after release R7 SotA realy lacked feminine attractive clothing.

Please all look at screenshots of the FireLotus Tavern Parties.
The main reason why the female Players Dance undressed is not because they love it, most hate the current Options they have. They feel like the clothing is to boring, to armor, to male.

And yes, to covering.


I mean come one, what do we want to see in the future more -

Players dancing with underwear out of Frustration of not having nice clothing Options,

or having a wonderful
FireLotus Party one day with us Players looking around and realy admiring the awesome Styling some of us Show off at a medieval Party.

And yes. some males would also enjoy a happy female dancing and seeing some wonderful Skin of a leg showing after she does a nice dancing move.
Nothing dirty about that. Just natural.


So back to my post.

I want the females to feel they do not have to Dance in underwear. And currently they are doing it.

And i know out of history of other games. This mainly happens if no interesting casual clothing is available. If cool clothing is out there , the underwear Population will diminish.

Smut is such a terrible word for options of choice... Do you really know I'm a man? do I really know that you are a woman?
I nor anyone is restricted from playing ether gender, so why not diversity of styling options?

Opinions and desires are diverse by nature and I respect your opinion as being different than my own, but there's no need for name calling anything as smut... Medieval was a very dark time to be so exacting in any repulsion of divers styling.

We can't all just change the historic past to fit what our individual judgments are of clothing morality and then wish to impose those crafted un-factual views onto others because of one's opinion that is prude.

I hear you, and even though some of those women said it, I'm not so sure that's the real or valid reason.

In UO, women (far too many) bank sat on their nightmares and had nothing on but their underwear. Not because there weren't good clothing options, but because they wanted attention.

If women want to be half naked, they will find a way. But why purposely design it into a game, even for non-combat?

It's more often the men posting in this thread who post these kind of exposed images, and want it. That goes along with huge breasts.

I agree that really nice clothing options are needed. But there is a line. I don't want the 21st century American standard video garbage to hit a medieval game.

 

If the purpose of armor is to mitigate (heavy armor), then lots of cut outs, etc. aren't helpful.
If the purpose of the armor is to avoid (light armor), then it functionally doesn't really matter how modest it is.

Both should be viable for different circumstances.

 

Remember, it was player feedback that led them to move in the direction of 'Romantic Renaissance' as the initial style of dress.

Ladyboy Thailand's Theater of Illusion - LOL.... dying over here. Let's keep in mind there will be the skill of tailoring to master and this is a game of CRAFTING. I'm sure there eventually will be a barbie doll house full of clothes, from scantily clad to burqa, that they can play dress up all day as they see fit.

 

It was a merry old time back then Ren Fests, Queen Elizabeth and that lady armor sure look a bit suggestive

The photo examples in the poll look appealing to me, too, but I don't think it looks like what we currently have (but maybe I'm not in the releases enough ) Though I voted for gypsy pirate

 

That must be the vote they have taken any notice of whenever I put vote on Housing I'm told they mean nothing

 

I liked the gypsy pirate pictures they posted. Hopefully they will honor the vote counts, in order of numbers. Not just one style, but more than one.

 

It only means something, depending on what side of the fence you're on.

 

From what I've seen of the R7 pictures half of them seem to prefer running around in their underwear taking selfie's

 

lol Rild I know there was player feedback regarding which player clothing design to go for, but I think they mayhap accidentally made a wrong turn into the 'Unromantic Renaissance', hmmm or the twilight zone, well just kidding there a bit. The female clothing definitely needs some improvements. and Yes I also love these kinds of discussions too
