Shroud of the Avatar Role Players Community(Article)
Im still here!
Long time passing.
Some of haven't signed on a forum but rp in game some.
I playing TT all the time. All the role players in virtual space?
Maybe its my area, but southern CA has tons of RP groups in mom and pop shops all around. weird.
er i mean "Hail there! i am still here, Mi Lady!
Fireangel, wherever you are in New Britannia, I am pretty sure we won't have to look much farther to find roleplayers! You're kind of like a beacon for us to find the community. (Well, to me anyway!)
Silly. The vernacular isn't important. Just be convincing. You know how. *smiles*
The lady pauses in her steps and turns to Caska, raising her brows. She bows modestly. "You are very kind, Caska. I do love participating in the realms." She winks. "I have absolutely no idea what a role player is."
Well I'm still here. I just don't post much anymore because my powers aren't needed at the moment. When people get out of hand I will step in and heal all the listeners.
That's what I do you know? I heal people with my words. I'm a doctor of vocabulary. My words have power. HAHAHAHHahahahaa
I role play too, but I'm not aware of it most of the time.
I'm still here and looking forward to having an extensive friends list of roleplayers. However I'll be mostly inactive until release.
I'm a roleplayer!!!!
good article hun... I'm afraid it sadly, mostly, falls to deaf ears... with all the arguments had about creating a true roleplaying environement (and finally abandoned for the convenience of pleasing those who find roleplaying inconvenient and even worse some will outright say its childish) I've even received threats for speaking in favor of this... that and the reception your humble companion got isn't very encouraging...
I'll be around for sure tho, thanks for the invitation !
This is where I hope the 'selective multiplayer' is as powerful as it's implied. Right now, the impresion I have when this game is released is that I'll have a heavy filter that will only allow me to interact with other roleplayers or people who simply attempt to immerse themselves in the world.
Yes I didn't lose hope... its just I try to argue those things and people find a way to troll me and try to get me banned with tons of reports...
And I'm a nobody, they really oppose the idea in a political way
They think we're trying to "steal" players from them... why are you trying to divide the people they say.
Pfft. That is asinine. You play the way you LIKE (or in my case, love) to play. They are free to do the same, and there are many combinations of role play and PvP and non-PvP to play. Stick to your guns, let everyone grow up or deal with it in their own way, and continue having FUN. Games are supposed to be fun. Hello.
Yes I'm trying to tell them that... but then they tell me everytime that its not fun for them, so I should bend and accept that we can't have it.
The truth is they don't care about roleplay, yet you'll see them in every thread arguing against ideas randomly given "as if".
If I don't accept their reprimand and say how I make my own fun, they attack me, then report my well deserved replies in which I explain simply why I defend my roleplay position. We've not even begun playing and I get all the fun drained out of me because I know our King Gariott wanted a game like I want, a real roleplaying game, but everytime he's pressed to speak in favor of it he looks uncomfortable and really asks other people to speak for him about it.
I never reported anyone on a forum ever, I am old enough to have my arguments and if they get out of hand and someone messages me privately I NEVER ignore them. I'm clearly being ostrasized as no mod ever told me you both got punished for arguing, I'm probably the only one that gets punished and thrown out of conversations...
I listened to their videos about reagents over and over, I would watch the same sequence and then I knew our king is getting pressured the same way I am. He barely could say he wanted reagents... you can tell they're having lots of philosophical differences even within the team, thats what the *trolls lets say it like it is* use as leverage to sabotage roleplay mechanics and enhance....
Ha I'm not even going to say it... I'd get reported.
