Why do you PvP? Just asking to see why people want to fight eachother?

What i'm saying is players already have a choice. Lets not ruin the game by watering down one of the choices to cater for the 'I want PvP but only ever on my terms' people. The answer for that is not to flag and to just 'duel' or go PvP zones when you are fully prepared.

Even if I'm all for PvP, there must be some kind of deterrent for not killing indiscriminately even if the player have PvP flagged him/her self. I want as many players as possible to flag PvP even if they are not PK, just to get an more open environment. If there is a well balanced drawback to attacking other players the risk of players complaining about being killed are less and we get more players flagging PvP.

If a weak and unskilled player 'chooses' to flag as PvP then they must accept the possible outcomes attached to it. If they are not ready in terms of skill and ability then they can 'choose' to take protection again.

If I find an easy kill.....Great
If that easy kill makes me money...... Even better

I will not show any remorse in doing this.

Yes, and I don't find any of that entertaining, nor would I pay to participate in it.
Games are, to me, an ESCAPE from reality, not reality taken to its violent extreme.
Do what you will to others who find that entertaining, just leave me out of it, please.

So, you saw it posted in a forum and took it as fact? lol, seriously, this post you dwindled up explains... nothing. To be completely fair, you are clueless as to what griefing or PKing is...

All players in SotA with the PvP flag are obviously looking for a fight, there is no way to find someone not looking for a fight unless you find them afk. Player Killing has a lot to do with PvP. Without PvP, you have no kill.

You did get one thing right, being a PK is not a viable play style in SotA.

I've made up my mind, you are in denial and do not know what griefing is in SotA period. You based your definition on a 20 year old game.

LOL, What are you then, a PK??? Because you are inconsiderate of pre-alpha game mechanics, think you can win a fight griefing, your're so pro, now you're a PK.

Dude... c'mon. You can teach, "How to be a griefer scrub 101"

It sounds like you have a lack of skill & coordination, thus resulting to cheap pre-alpha game mechanics that don't help you win a fight anyway. I kill more than I die, I guarantee I kill you 100% of the time ;)

Please stay mad my friend, fuel your griefing powers as they will be lost at some point.

Which is why the PvP flag isn't enough and we need a justice system.

Yeah there should be "safe places" where it doesnt happen! Skill trainers vendors etc.. in a chosen town or city, i thik when they implement the guards that kind of pvp will slow down alot. Even if they dont have safe zones ill still play PVP anyways. but it is nice to have a place to go chill out at without talking the flag off!

Im all for a justice system! I am a Pk Hunter after all! I would love to have bounties! and a way to tell if someone is red/blue, i personally think that system in UO was great if you murdered so many times you were red, and if i killed them you didn't get punished too much for it since you were a murderer! I also like the way they implemented you are now grey so behave for a bit so you can go back to blue. If you were red you could go from red to gray to blue. That's my opinion on it i really liked it!

A DEA agent stops at a ranch in Texas and talks with an old rancher. He tells the rancher, "I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs." The rancher points and says, "Okay, but do not go in that field over there."

The DEA agent verbally explodes: "Mister, I have the authority of the federal government behind me." Reaching into his rear pants pocket, he removes his badge and proudly displays it to the rancher. "See this badge? This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish ... on any land. No questions asked or answers given. Have I made myself clear? Do you understand?"

The rancher nods politely, apologizes and goes about his chores. A short time later, the old rancher hears loud screams and sees the DEA agent running for his life while being chased by the rancher's prize bull.

With every step the bull is gaining ground on the officer, and it seems likely that he'll get "horned" before he reaches safety. The officer is clearly terrified. The rancher throws down his tools, runs to the fence and yells at the top of his lungs:

"Your badge! Show him your BADGE!"

Some realities in PVP, that im assuming wont be implemented are when you see another character you cant tell what level they are by the armor since all of us will have the same looking armor, you cant tell by the weapon since all of us will have the same looking weapon! So im going to ask the Pks to dye their armor red so i know if its ok to kill you or not! lol
