I attend dragon con for other reasons (mostly tabletop RPG and board gaming), but last year had a chance encounter with Richard in the Hilton elevator. I got about a 30 second spiel of trying to convey my longterm appreciation for all things ultima/tabula/shroud (and even going back to my Ansteorra days in the SCA), and got to shake his hand. He said he was on his way to host a panel on SotA, but alas, I was slated to run a game that same session, couldn’t bail on that. This time hope I can make some time…
